I just want an RPing Soulmate. Is that too much to ask?

You ever notice how other RPer’s seem to find the one mun to RP with where they get to make interesting plots that never die, and they both drop everything to reply as soon as it comes in because they’re so excited about it? They seem to have this bond together that exists both IC and OOC and you know that even if no one else ever RPed with them again they wouldn’t care because they’d still have each other.
I want that. I want that so badly my teeth ache.

Midsummer afternoons are Lily’s favourite.

They throw the windows open, and though a cooling breeze occasionally drifts through the room, the heat is inescapable. Even so, they lie, skin to skin, under a thin sheet together. Lily pulls most of it up to her chest and James drapes what’s left across his hips.

It is too hot to move and Lily’s eyelids begin to droop drowsily, until James startles her out of her sleepy haze.

“Wanna get married?”

She turns to face him, her green eyes wider than usual.

“What, right now?”

He shifts next to her and the sheet slips off him. His warm fingertips trace up her spine.

“If you want to.”

“Hmm,” she hums lazily. “But that would involve getting dressed…”

He leans forward to press his lips against her bare shoulder and she feels them twitch into a smile.

“Says who? I won’t complain if you turn up naked.” 

She snorts inelegantly as he nuzzles his face into her neck, trailing his hands back down her body. His wraps his arm around her stomach to pull her closer.

“James?” she asks and he hums against her ear in response. “Really?”

“Just say when.”

There is a lull, a moment to think about something that, really, requires no thought.

“James?” she whispers.

“Yeah?”

“When.”

“Oh hush, you..” Lily retorted pointedly, though she neither confirmed nor denied the claim. She’d been prepared for the teasing when she and James had started seeing each other - after in her younger years she’d claimed to never do such a thing. “You’re a god-send, and my eyes are already closing..” she yawned, laying her head on her book.

“Oh, no, Evans—I couldn’t let you go all the way up there unattended.” And he couldn’t take her there himself because surely there would be more people on the way, more prying eyes to get her in trouble. If he let her go alone she’d likely slip out his name and then he’d get in trouble for having let her wandered off alone in that state, knowing fully well that she could have hurt herself.
… He could turn her in himself, send her to one of the professors for safe-keeping and a good detention or two, or he could enjoy the moment as it came to him and consider it a stroke of luck that he was the one who discovered her first.
“Angry with you? Well… yes, it was rather rude of you to have reached so quickly for me. What say you make it up to me? Do you want to step into my office?” he walked backwards to one of the open doors in the hallway, nodding his head inside, “We’ll play some… games until you’re feeling better. You can tell me all about your family. I’m so curious.”

Lily stared at the ground and nodded, still feeling guilty. It was like she was a child being scolded, but honestly in her state that was a pretty accurate description. She should’ve stayed in the common room- at least she wouldn’t have upset anyone there, and she’d be able to just go up to bed and not bother anyone like she was bothering Regulus. She didn’t like needing someone to watch over her, but the way Regulus spoke.. it seemed that that was exactly what she needed. A babysitter. Someone to make sure she didn’t get into trouble.. and for some reason the younger boy had volunteered.

“I’m sorry-” she began again, but he presented a solution that stopped that train of speech. “Your office?” she asked with a smile returning to her features. It was just a random empty classroom, hardly the slytherin boy’s office, and that made her chuckle. “Sure, I guess that’s a good idea,” she shrugged, following him with only a little hesitation. At last she laughed outright, “My family? You know they’re all muggles, right?” she asked as if there was any chance Regulus didn’t know that already. Why he would be interested in them, she wouldn’t understand.

While they don’t go against her conscience, they’re not really her thing. depending on verse she’s had either none so far or a couple, but typically she stops that kinda thing before it gets out of hand because she prefers to have a connection with the person.

I mean, she wouldn’t mind being taller, but not so much.

to be honest, Lily is fairly adventurous if she’s with someone she trusts/cares about. As for her own preferences they’re probably more mainstream- blindfolds, mild dom/sub, handcuffs, occasionally public places etc. she’s not afraid of new experiences.
15. What is the biggest turn-off for your muse?
pain. don’t hit her or smack her ass so hard it stings. while she likes it rough sometimes, it’s obvious when it goes too far.
