Clarke changing her mind and asking Bellamy to go to the mountain after Lexa tells her “love is weakness”, and explicitly telling him she is changing her mind because she was “being weak” does more for early bellarke than anything else.

Whatever J.Roth might wanna tell us, Bellarke was a slow burn romance in the making that was snuffed out for bullshit reasons.

So, now when we know (thanks to Niylah) that Bellamy was reading Ovid’s “Metamorphoses” to Octavia when they were little and one of Ovid’s well known phrases from his other work is “Dum spíro, spéro”, which basically translates as “ While I breath, I hope”, how much do yall wanna bet, that in this moment

Bellamy was quoting Ovid’s at Clarke and trying to cheer her up in their own nerdy way?

I swear to god them nerding together gonna be the death of me.
