The community has been growing MORE & MORE supportive overtime. Most roleplayers do not mind the length of time that it takes for you to reply to things, which is WONDERFUL!! But, there are still some people who actually do mind the length of time, so please REBLOG this if you are not bothered by the time it takes for your roleplay partner to reply to you, and would much rather prefer them to be COMFORTABLE and HAPPY.

[ The boy s c o f f e d, lips twitching to uphold a smirk;the painful smile he placed for appearances. ]
“–I’d guess you were joking, but you’re not the funny type,so instead I’d say you’re just trying to PISS ME OFF.”
[ Don’t let him see;he’ll know it always hurts. ]
“I already told you: kill me & I’ll haunt you, run & I’ll hunt you. Go on & try–
I’ll fight for you, now, because it’s what you need from me, admit it or don’t, I WON’T change my mind.”

↳ naruto week day 2: mission SASUKE RECOVERY MISSON
[ It was supposed to be simple. The smoke filled his lungs, filled his head & the air in plumes, making him dizzy, drunksick to be standing. This was supposed to be simple. He was knocked forward from a blast & staggered.
Disoriented, panting, blue eyes searching, he growled, choked, ]
"SASUKE--!"
[ The blonde shinobi leaped from the fray in a desperate attempt to free his senses of the overload. He zig-zagged through the trees as they materialized like ghosts & obstacles in his pursuit. He had to find him, get to him, Sasuke, he couldn't be-- THERE.
Pale skin & white shirt closed his search; the Uchiha's retreat had taken him deep, deep into the forest. It was strategy, right? Sweat glistening, dirt gritting in Naruto's teeth, dirt everywhere, the teen beelined for his friend only to realize it was not strategy that brought him so far from the scurmish. ]
“S-Sasuke you're hurt...”
[ The haze was not so heavy in the air, dissipated in his mind when he saw the blood. Another explosion shook the birds from the trees, & shook action into his bones. Naruto grabbed Sasuke around the arm and hoisted the weight easily over his shoulder. He pulled the injured body away from its support in favor of the mobility he could provide. ]
“C'mon”, [ he said, almost begged, ]
“We’re getting out of here. Can you jump, can you walk?”

[ Soothing sounds, sights, & sensations intermingled with peaceful listlessness with the coming night-- intake and out-breath of smoke, tabacco smell rich, warm as it puffed in clouds against his cheek & contrasting vividly with cold rushes of clean wind. Birds sang more quietly in these hours; their slow footfalls crackled leaves, twigs, & the boy was momentarily taken with the soft scene of he & his friend walking along, eyes fogged in unspoken thoughtfullness, watching the taller's grey exhales disappate among the trees.
Moments like these he would always recall fondly; it was reminiscent of the many hours, miles, he wandered with Jiraya, & he was thankful for the new, old company that eased his sorrows & disregarded his loneliness. In a fet for his impulseiveness, afraid to say too little or too much, Naruto strolled quietly at Shikamaru's side, hands rested behind his head, & was thankful to renew reason for conversation when they came upon the crossroads of their unexpected journey.
The dark-haired shinobi seemed contemplative; Naruto awaited his reason for pause, anticipating it must have meant that he had changed his mind & would rather carry on without him-- reality, however, was of completely opposite polarity.]
"Uh. You want me at your place?" [ he asked, & after reviewing his potentially ungracious tone, he quickly, apologetically waved his hands. ]
"WAIT not like that! Ah-ha-- Mm. All I'm sayin' is, it's weird, you know? --NOT THAT your place is weird, or it's weird that you'd ask somebody over there or even weird that you cook, which is totally unexpected, and-- I think it's great! Really a neat hobby. But uh. I dunno, it's just-- Weird. I don't think anybody's ever asked me over to a-- house...before... Eeeh--”
[ Naruto grimaced at the word-vomited coming out of his own mouth, really sweating it, & searched Shikamaru's face for offense. I looked less like a moron before I started talking, he thought, and he was not wrong.]

[ He watched her watching the quiet display– bugs like lanterns or stars in the night. They beckoned a desire to be a part of the forest & its lights somehow, but the show was likely lost to the performers dancing in it. ]
“Maybe it’s a…over-crowding type– thing–”,
[ the shinobi offered in solidarity;
Gaze downcast, Naruto plucked at the blades of grass between his knees, legs stretched out before him atop the emerald carpeting. He reflected, shrugging his lips, & said, ]
“–’sides, I reckon s’only sad if it feels short to them, too. Maybe we’re already thinkin’ about it way more than they do.”
