The next bit was mumbled under his breath “I swear, if this mutagen kills you - which for all I know it will - I’m telling what you were trying to accomplish here. No way I’m getting framed for murder.”
“The Universe will play to my rules; it always has.” Of course, Spock could have been wrong ---- he had been wrong before, but he thought, for the most part that he could get away with what he had been doing. Either way, it looked like he was actually on the losing end of that spectrum as he folded his arms calmly across his chest with a grunt.
“If I am incorrect, I can assure you that I will suffer the
consequences.” It was then he paused for a moment,
“Do you honestly think that I would allow something of
this nature to my death? You are going to fix this and if
we don’t? We will both be going to someplace beyond
time. I do hope you’re prepared to meet whatever is on
the other side; I certainly am.”
“You did NOT just ask me that question.”
“It’s not ARROGANCE, it’s called being CORRECT, and RIGHT.”

“Oh, sorry, for freezing your brain. Do you have like a button I can push so you would understand?” Stripes wore his best shiteating grin as he looked at the man with worst haricut in history.
“Have I ever told you what a nice fellow you were?” Stripes asked, eyebrows lifting towards the ceiling as he had the most doubtful expression on his face.
“I’ll buy you some sense of humour for your birthday, I promise” thought that wouldn’t help on Spock either. The man looked so stiff, Stripes’ head hurt just from looking at that ramrod straight back and sharp unwavering stance.
The Sith took in a deep breath before letting it out as slowly as possible, his anger was getting to him, but he couldn’t let it out. Not just yet, he needed more time, but he didn’t know if that was even possible anymore.
“It would be best if you would silence yourself. I would really hate for something to happen to you since you simply keep talking.”

Fenn looked up, grimacing, and wiping sweat off his brow. “Yeah, you already said that. I am working hard to make it happen, so please… don’t loom over me like a prison guard.”
“If I was a prison guard, I would have shocked you already, and I can assure you that it isn’t the case.” he stated in his usual matter of fact tone, “I cannot deal with failures or simple matters of delays.”

“Failure is not an acceptable option. Failure means that we haven’t tried any other alternative.” He stated as if it was a matter of fact, “I am not going to allow failure on this.”
There as a short pause, “We will not get caught. I can assure you of that.”

“Quite possibly, but it’s not recommended. You should keep yourself from caring too much. It’s a flaw.”

There as a short pause, “We will not get caught. I can assure you of that.”

“I—-I can’t. Worrying is what I do.” she muttered softly, her head dropping slightly in embarrassment at his tone.
“You shouldn’t worry. That could be considered a distraction of a sort and I am quite sure that could lead to failure.”
