my attempt to live a creative life hehe consume art, make art and buy art hehe

The struggle of wanting to do so many different things at the same time is getting on my nerves again. I had to remind myself that I have a long life ahead of me to do these things. For now, I need to prioritize one at a time so that I can fully give all my energy into doing it.

I decided to put most of my energy and focus on my new job, so I am doing less art or anything creative—well, at least I try to do something creative once in a while in order for me not to forget about it, not letting my skills get rusty. I do some random sketches, take videos & edit them and upload them on my channel on Youtube.

I am also consistently writing down on my journal which is a big help on figuring out who I am, who I am becoming in this new season of my life, getting to know myself more, what I wanted for myself, just doing some life auditing.

We are almost done with the year and one of the many realizations that I experienced this year is that we are all one choice away from completely changing the course of our life. They're right! Also, living in the present, being grateful and minding my own business really makes me feel at peace.

after taking a quick rest, sheryl and i met up with nethy who happens to be in manila as well for her school related stuff, we planned to go to BGC to roam around and look for smiski or sonny angels, and for a change we decided to take the bus and mali yung pag intindi namin sa driver so bumaba kami sa maling area, hahaha which is fine so we got to walk to high street.

we roamed around IKEA! my first time to go inside and we had fun checking out furnitures, playing around their showroom, lol!

after an hour and a half of roaming around my friend and i ended up buying a lint roller—because it's one of the cheapest things that you can purchase there?! and I love lint roller!!!

we ate at din tai fung hehe might be the last time i will eat there lol

I haven’t brought my camera out in a while, it feels nice to take photos again. Also, I tried the 7-day free trial of Lightroom and it feels nostalgic to post-process photos making an effort to look for that perfect mood for the photos.

I love walking because I get to see the sky change color 🥹

a proof of life. 

This what usually happens when I’m feeling empty all of sudden, I tend to buy random things impulsively--things I don’t need-- Especially pens, notebooks, other art materials, groceries to somehow make me feel better. There was this time that I was bored and feeling down I went inside the supermarket and went out with two plastic bags full of groceries.  

Today, I bought three miniso brush pens for a hundred pesos--it’s actually 99 for 3--because I’ve been eyeing it since last month, and a Koi water brush that I never expected myself to purchase it because it’s a bit expensive but whatever, I’m still going to use it anyway. Oh yeah, I ate at Sbarro as well, baked ziti will forever be my comfort food. 

I rarely go out of the house when it’s my day off. I just want to spend more time sleeping or brainstorming some ideas for my creative stuff.
