Running Up That Hill

Sometimes I think the best version of myself is when I'm alone. And I truly mean that in a positive way. Over the years I've started to come to appreciate doing things by myself, whether that's something as simple as going to the grocery store, or going to a class. Since the pandemic, I've been really trying to think hard about how I can push myself forward once the world readjusts. I've been taking my time, and easing into socializing. I take a lot of joy in little things like simple conversations with someone working the cash register or smiling at someone while taking a walk. Very glad I found this ceramics studio and I've gotten the chance to work on art, which has always been so important to me, while taking a little break from teaching during the summer.
