I think people here on Tunglr Dot Hell forget that Mercy has a lot of lines condemning Overwatch…. like…. she is glad Overwatch fell. And doesn’t want it to come back. And it’s looking like in canon she hasn’t reacted to the recall, though we don’t know this for sure. 

So I mean. When people want to demonize her for what she did to people in Overwatch just remember she doesn’t fuckin like what she did in Overwatch either. Or, more likely, what Overwatch made her do. Also remember she “joined” Overwatch when she was 17 (possibly some kind of job shadowing under doctors there while she completed her schooling?). She was young. And while talented and intelligent, she was probably more caught up in proving herself than focusing on her own feelings in regards to the things she was asked/made to do.

I just feel like Tumblr demonizes Mercy as a character for absolutely no reasons whatsoever.

IVE BEEN MEANING TO DRAW WITCH MERCY, BUT I JUST HAVE A LOT ON MY PLATE RN. BC STUFF AND I JUST REMEMBERED I SIGNED UP FOR LIKE 2 SECRET SANTAS and I’m giving art to those peeps I got. ANYWAY

WITCH MERCY IS MY SHIT. I guess part of the reason I fell out of my Overwatch hype, other than I don’t have the game, is bc. This tech shit isn’t really my genre type. I’m really more into fantasy and high fantasy. Magic and that jazz. I love magical theory and thinking about the different forces Mercy pulls to knit and reconstruct tissue and restore life through creation magic. Either drawing this restorative force through arcane energy, making a mockery of life or drawing this from the land and spirits. Rlly depends on the background u choose anyway I’m rambling.

I’m down for witch mercy. Mercy is best grill
