Hi everyone,

After 4 wonderful years of wig madness, I have decided to close the shop for several reasons. The main reason being that running the shop next to my other job has become too time absorbing, as you might have already guessed from the lack of posts on the Insomnium Wigs social media pages. I have had an amazing time running the store and in doing so have met many wonderful people. Thank you all for the love and support that I have received in the past 4 years, it would not have been possible without you all. And a special thanks to Katelizabeth Photography who has done most of our photography and whom I could always count on for help in all fields. Those of you who have made orders in the past few days do not need to worry, everything is being taken care off and sent out asap. Lots of love

So I ordered from Insomnium Wigs. I got the wrong wig and I think this is Royalty, but we resolved the issue (A+ customer service– I got prompt replies even though it was the weekend!). Anyways, it is very soft! It’s good quality, and worth the price (they sell Royalty for $38– This price is comparable to Epic Cosplay, perhaps cheaper than what they would sell a similar product for). It has some really nice curls to it; they’re so pretty! The shipping time was right in the frame they say on the website. The orders come from China (they ship right from the supplier), so it takes a while. The company itself is based in Belgium, so I figure that’s where they design styles and manage the company from.

Hi everyone,

Today I bring you good news and bad news. The bad news is: we are going on hiatus, and at this point we can not say for how long. For some time we have been having complications with our payment services and been experiencing unplanned delays in both shipping and payments. This caused some distress for us, but also for our customers and we sincerely apologize for that. All customers that still had an open order were emailed last week with all the info they need and the chance to choose between a refund or their order. We haven't heard back from a few people, so if you are reading this and have an open order, please contact us!

The good news is that we are not going on a hiatus to sit on our butts, while the shop is closed we will be focussing on resolving these problems and re-branding to bring you a bigger and better wig store that will provide a much better customer experience.
