Leaving the room, He finds himself in a well decorated mansion… Seeming to take inspiration from Cyridil, and high rock. Distant machinery can be heard, but certainly much less then in the ruins, like the owners took care to hide it from sight.
A familiar purple haired sight disappears down a hall, following the sounds of stifled giggles and gently warnings about being careful.

His eyes scan the room, narrowing at the familiar designs that were mixed in with designs that were not from the same people. His eyes scanned the room, taking in all of the details of the comfortable room before cautiously pushing his way into the hallway.

His eyes scanned the decorations in the hallways and the lived in state of the old somewhat Dwemer house.

Many old paintings lined the walls, each with a plague under them explaining what they were. There were vases with lavender and tundra cotton dotted around on small wooden tables. There were some remnants of Dwemer technology, like spare gears, or a few pipes running along the walls. A large clock could be seen hanging over the main entrance. It’s mid-day.

“…” He sniffles, attempting to dry his eyes, but when that fails, he just gives up, sobbing softly as he just…latches onto Null. It’s been…so long since he could rely on her for comfort…

If only Ano would be this open with his emotions... She didn’t dwell on the bitter thought for too long, focusing on comforting Anomaly and rubbing his back in circles.

“It’s... Okay... Let it out...” Her tone was soft, gentle.

“Oh, uh…aite then…” Life seems to be worried about exactly how long it’d take to establish a connection, but they push away those thoughts before they wander to why exactly they’re worried. Their sister needs support, and dammit, they’re gonna give it to her. “Just let me know if I gotta do anythin’ else, I guess.”

Will do... Sorry in advance if you get... Any of the empty feelings I guess? They should fade as more of a connection forms...” The soul is warm right now, very little coming from it emotion wise, as if she’s holding back the feelings somehow... but that empty feeling lingers.

…Eurgh…that is…weird… A shiver runs up the gambler’s spine, before they settle down, letting out a sigh. “…Aite, uh…so how long do I have ta…?” They trail off, looking over to Primal. “…Oh s***, I forgot about youse.”
“Hi, Primal,” Para calls out quietly, raising a hand in greeting.

“Hello. Give her a moment to get settled. I’m just here to take care of things. Both of them shouldn’t be out of commission at a time if it can be helped.” Primal shrugs, tying back Sakura’s hair.

I just need to be here until a connection forms, so probably not too long...

Lost and Found [Closed starter]

Null isn’t entirely sure how long had actually past, having fallen into a low power mode while hiding out at this bus stop in some universe... Oh dear... She blinked, looking around a bit groggily, before staggering up to her feet. She needs to get home, who knows how long she’s been out here... ... She didn’t know if Ano would be worried, but she didn’t want to wait. Ignoring a low battery warning and a few errors, she starts stumbling out of the bus stop cover, looking for a place to portal back... She didn’t expect to stumble into anyone in her daze, teetering and falling over.

“Ow... Sorry...” She rubs her face, slightly tired despite her long nap.

“…” He’s on the verge of hyperventilating at this point, hesitant to take Null’s advice…but after a moment he forces himself to stop, body continuing to tremble as he sucks in a breath. He attempts to focus on his breathing, but…it proves too much for him to handle as he breathes out a shaky sob, a few tears escaping his eyes despite his efforts to stop them. “S-Sorry…s-s-sorry…”

..Null stands up, going over to him and silently wrapping an arm around him... It’s... Really second nature...

“Shush... It’s okay... Everything will be alright...” She hesitantly rubs his back...

Life blinks, freezing up with hesitation. Oh…geez, okay, okay… They remain like that for a moment, before slowly moving towards her, reaching out for the orb. “A…Aite…” Don’t screw up, don’t screw up, careful, careful

As soon as they touch the orb, it slowly trails up their arm and resides in their chest. Their filled with a warm feeling... And a brief feeling of detachment before it settles. Sakura’s body stills, lifeless for a moment before... Oh hey primal--

Oh, dang– She wordlessly looked down at her armor, then back to him as he absolutely destroyed a centurion. That was. All quite the speciticale. She didn’t even get to ask what he meant before he dropped! Oh well… Might as well get him out of here! She was going to try and drag him out first, but quickly realized that he was much taller then her, and though she was strong, that’d just be awkward… So hmm… It takes her a moment to realize she can just. Teleport home. She sets up that and easily takes the man home.
Though she does have to ask for some help to get this man into a spare bedroom, it’s not long before she’s impatiently waiting for him to get back up.

He had really tried his hardest to stay conscious until he could escape the civilization, but his body simply couldn’t push on any forward. And exerting his energy to lash out at not only the woman but the centurion took out the last of his adrenaline.

But the last thing he remembered was looking into the face of a women that was most certainly not a dwemer. At least, she didn’t look like one. But they all had at least some similarity. But he wasn’t able to linger on the thought before he passed out.

Instead he woke up in a warm blanket on a soft mattress, a far cry  from the cold room of stone and hard stone chair. And as tempting as it was to be dragged back into a comfortable sleep, he forced himself away. Tired muscles protesting as his mind began to fully turn on.

He pulled off the blanket and slid his feet onto the floor. Socks feet hitting the floor,. His eyes snapped to his shoes by his bed and he pulled them on before cautiously leaving the room.

Leaving the room, He finds himself in a well decorated mansion... Seeming to take inspiration from Cyridil, and high rock. Distant machinery can be heard, but certainly much less then in the ruins, like the owners took care to hide it from sight.

Para seems a little disappointed, but they understand. They let out a soft, wistful sigh, before settling back onto the couch, watching the two.
“Uh…right.” The gambler takes out a card, storing their plastic bag inside of it, before tucking it back into their coat. “…How, uh…do we do this…?”

Don’t worry, Para, she’ll be back-- She shifts a little before pressing her hand to her chest, her soul following when she draws it back. The white orb is still a little cracked and damaged, but stable. The mist around it is a bit of a dark shade of pink but it should be fine.

“Just... Grab onto it, it should transfer to you for a while.”

Avatar
“…Y…Yeah…it’s okay…” Para responds, leaning over to nuzzle against Sakura. “If this’ll help her, then…it’s worth a try, right…?” Never mind their own personal qualms against it…and the fact that the Doctor will probably be upset by not being listened to…again…hhh…
Life frowns with worry, thinking it over for a moment. Well, she seems pretty adamant about it…and they say it’s okay, so… “…Yeah, aite. If ya think it’ll help, I’ll do it.”

She feels selfish and guilty but... fuck she’s so tired of feeling like this...She nuzzles Para back before going to a different couch to sit. It’ll be a bit easier that way, and so Para doesn’t have to deal with her lifeless body.

“R-Ready when you a-are...”

It wasn’t hard for the short woman to catch up, her brow quirked at this strange man. He looked kinda like a bean pole… Probably not from skyrim… Hm…
“So like. Why in Oblivion were you trapped in a box, sir?”

He snapped to attention, a shadow lashing out at her and snapping at her in an automatic defense. Perhaps if she was wearing Dwarven armor it would have went right through, but instead the shadow only left a long crack across the front of her armor.

He stumbled backwards, intent on putting distance between himself and the newcomer but froze at the sound of moving metal and steam. He whirled around to face a centurion. Panic set in and, perhaps with more force than needed, shadows grabbed the machine and threw it so hard against the wall it shattered into pieces.”

With the immediate threat once again gone he turned to look at the woman. He blinked once.

“You’re not a Dwemer.” Was all he said, looking over Sakura before passing right out on the spot.

Oh, dang-- She wordlessly looked down at her armor, then back to him as he absolutely destroyed a centurion. That was. All quite the speciticale. “…” Life grows increasingly nervous as she talks. Yeah, they want to help, but that seems a little too…intimate to them? Is that really okay? “…Er…not dat I’m against it or anythin’, but…me? Ya sure? Is dat okay? With er…da both of youse?”

“Yeah... I’m sure, sibs... You’re someone I trust so... I figured it’d be... Safer to try with family first?” She shrugs. “I just... wanna feel connected... I don’t like feeling like an outsider in my own home... In my own body...”

Avatar
“…” That makes them nervous for some reason, but hey, they can’t be a decent gambler without a poker face. Playing it cool it is— “…Yeah, sure, what’s up?”

She’s quiet, listening for a moment before... Quietly explaining the situation, this time managing to not burst into tears, but she’s gripping her chest pretty tightly.

“So... In short... I-I’m... asking if you c-could... Hold onto m-my soul, to test this t-theory...”

The gambler pauses, looking the two over for a moment, before reaching into their bag. “…Here. I got ya two iced tea ‘n some chips,” they respond, pulling out the aforementioned items and setting them down on the nearby coffee table.
“O…Oh! Thank you, Life.”

“Ah... Thanks...” She looked over at the snacks, humming. She didn’t really feel hungry... ...She’s unsure if she should ask Life... The doctor... Had a valid point... But fuck, she’s tired of feeling empty--

“Hey Life...? Can I ask you something...?” Her voice was quiet, serious.

Whoa–! She quickly side-stepped the shadows as the poured out, watching, dumbfounded, as the man ran off… Was she supposed to give chase? Who did she even unleash on the world? By the Nine, this was probably a mistake– Oh well, not the first time she’s made one. She’s quick to haul her ebony armor’d ass up and follow him, at a safe distance. He looked ready to drop, so maybe he’ll get tired before he goes too far–

The only thing keeping him going was his adrenaline, his body still exhausted and his vision once again going blurry, but there was no possible way that he was going to give the Dwemer another chance at recapturing him.

So he pushed on until he couldn’t, which given his physical state, was only a few hallways over.

Panting, he leaned up against the wall, dizzy and tired.

It wasn’t hard for the short woman to catch up, her brow quirked at this strange man. He looked kinda like a bean pole... Probably not from skyrim... Hm...
