Two weeks before WasabiCon NOLA, and we've decided collectively that we just can't afford to go. Without getting into personal woes, we're just going to cut our losses ($30 apiece for Saturday-only passes) and be unburdened by it all.
It's a huge bummer, but at the same time, I feel relieved? That $300 I saved up for my half of the hotel/parking fee could really be helpful to me right now financially.
And, we're possibly eyeballing Mississippi Comic-Con in June instead since everything from cheaper hotels with free breakfast to free parking is offered. It's something to think about, at least, to keep me from being completely devastated in the long run.
I'm fine, but have a Sad Pyro anyway.
