disney acquiring 21st century fox is literally a terrible idea… in what universe is one massive conglomerate that controls like 90% of the media that we consume a good idea??? this is bad news for independent projects, for people trying to break into the industry, and just general creativity! having the x-men in the marvel cinematic universe is not that big of a deal people!

I think one of my least favorite types of responses to people speaking up on sexual harassment and sexual assault is are articles like “in wake of weinstein, men wonder if hugging women still ok”, and comments like “this is why men don’t pursue women anymore”, “i don’t wanna work with women cause i don’t want a lawsuit”, or “i don’t even look at women anymore cause everything is sexual harassment”. this is a particular brand of rape culture, men acting as if women are overreacting, as if men don’t have the basic social skills to know the difference between wanted and unwanted advances, as if women simply setting boundaries is “cramping their style” and “emasculating” them, as if the rules of respecting women are super confusing, so confusing that they’re supposedly forcing men not to interact with us altogether.

this is an act they’ve been putting on for decades: playing stupid, pretending not to know better and then getting upset when we tell them what “better” is. if that doesn’t show you how emotional and emotionally manipulative they are, i don’t know what does.

Those animals were put here by the creator FOR indigenous peoples, to live belong side us in harmony and good health, and to feed the people when the time comes. ALL ndn people of the “americas” are hunter/fathered people traditionally. respect our ways of life or GTFO.

This man is a hero in his village, he fed everyone there for days. Below-working class Alsaskan Natives who otherwise would’ve had to travel hours to get to the nearest grocery store.

hi guys! so, lately i’ve been going through a tough time financially and with being disabled i haven’t been able to find a job 😞 and my condition is getting worse and worse. i figured i’d give this a try and just try and reach out to people. any bit of help is appreciated!

totally forgot to put pictures on the post 😭 but thank you to the people that have helped so far! you guys are amazing. any bit of help is appreciated 💕 finding a job while being physically disabled is so hard sometimes. why can’t it be easier 😞 im very limited to the things i can do so i can’t go out and find just any regular job 😔 if anyone has any tips also? feel free to message me!
