Chapters: 9/? Fandom: Shingeki no Kyojin | Attack on Titan Rating: Not Rated Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Levi Ackerman/Eren Yeager Characters: Levi Ackerman, Eren Yeager, Erwin Smith, Jean Kirstein, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Connie Springer, Hange Zoë Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - 1940s, Film Noir, Organized Crime, Mafia Levi (Shingeki no Kyojin), Detective Noir, Detective Eren Yeager, there are vague references to homophobia if even that but it’s not at all the focus, there’s a lot of smoking and drinking, this is set during the 1940’s and inspired by the film noir movies of that time, Eren is in his early 20’s Summary:

Detective Eren Jaeger is assigned to a case - what he doesn’t expect, though, is to become entangled with the man he is meant to investigate, and fall deeper and deeper into a world of underground crime.

Chapter Summary:

Eren knew he had found it when he spotted the stained glass windows from afar. An impressive Victorian mansion shrouded by surrounding magnolia trees that were no longer in bloom and awaiting winter. He observed it from up on a hill beneath the claw-like branches of a barren tree. Below him stretched the steep streets lined with Victorian houses, tall and narrow.

He is here.

Levi could be in that house at this very moment. It had taken Eren far too long - much longer than he had liked - to track down the source. At least, what he now considered to be the source: Levi’s home. He couldn’t say for certain that the key would be there; perhaps it was kept elsewhere, or perhaps it had already been handed over to Erwin. Nonetheless, Levi was nearly in his grasp. He was no longer some lofty distant goal, always just out of reach - no longer the midnight mist that seeped between his fingers. Soon Levi, that ever evasive jewel, would be in the palm of his hand.
