 This was it. The biggest moment of your life. You have dreamed of this day forever, maybe even decades. Today was the day you finally got to fight at the side of your brothers and father.

“Are you ready to go (Y/N?”​ A strong male voice had asked, from outside your door. Your brother Dick, the eldest coming to get your for the next mission. ​“Yeah​!” You responded back, a panic in your face, glancing over to your now boyfriend in the corner. His name was Connor, and honestly, none of your brothers liked the fact he lived with you. You had said that you wouldn’t live with them unless he came, so they made an agreement. The tall man stood up, his calloused hands upon both of your shoulders, glancing into the mirror. Connor looked you up and down, his brown eyes peering upon your body. You smiled, looking at him, a tight catsuit along your body, guns on your thighs, and a grapple device on your side. 

Your hair flowed down like the river, sitting nicely on your shoulders. Connor sighed backing up, arms crossed. “​You aren’t wearing that, for Christ's sake you're going on a mission! You don’t need to look like that.”  You laughed softly rolling your eyes​. “Yeah, you're funny…” ​The look on your lover’s face didn’t change. ​“Connor, you can’t be serious!...Come on​.” Connor glanced at the door, noticing it closed. ​“Connor, please don’t do this now​.’ You hated to admit but he was….​Hurtful​. You never told anyone, but they knew, Your brothers of course. You figured it was alright, he still loved you. Connor walked over towards the door, blocking it, forcefully grabbing your wrist, pulling you towards him. “​I. Said. No.” ​You shook your head pulling away from the grip,walking towards your closet. Changing into black clothes, throwing a belt on and calling it a day. “​This turtle-neck is HIGHLY uncomfortable.”​ You spoke to him shoving past him, and walking out the door, only to be faced with your second eldest brother, Jason. Jason ran his fingers through his streaked hair. “​Where’s the outfit that we gave you?” ​You smiled and laughed nervously, rubbing the back of your neck. “​Oh! Um, I was uncomfortable…​.” You smiled as he looked at you, a cock in his eyebrow. “​Did he​-” You cut him off before he could finish. ​“Nope! All good Jay.” Y​ou smiled, taking your hand away from your neck, Jason glancing at your arm. He got closer to you, and grabbed your arm, advancing your sleeve upwards. Jason noticed finger marks on your wrist, setting your arm down gently. “​This needs to stop..C’mon. Let’s go.”

 This was it. The heat of the battle. You guys, had agreed to help Bruise go after Joker. You yelled towards your brother. “​Tim! Now!” ​ Tim pressed a button, an air shaft expressing air out, lifting you up towards the surface. There he was. Joker. Messy green hair, white faced, and a whole lot of . mayhem. “​It’s over! We’ve won!”  ​You expressed, standing there, your brothers, and father by your side. Bruce stepped in front of you, not fast enough though. The next moment, you were shot, blood dripping down your leg and your arm, gasping for air. The last thing you heard was Tim speak up. “​Bruce, Time to go! She’s down!” These boys  protected you with their life. Once you were done, so were they.

 Pain. Agony. Hurt filled your body, laying there on the couch after your lovely butler patched you up. Hours have passed, maybe days. You winced as you attempted to move your legs, your vision blurry and hearing going in and out. You couldn’t make it out, but you heard…..yelling? You sat up with your other arm weakly saying, ​“Guys?....” ​Silence. Jason ran over to you, along with Bruce. Bruce kneeled by your side, looking at your shots. The suit is still upon him. “Oh thank god.” You thought. Bruce spoke up, sighing. ​“You were out for a little, How are you feeling?” “Fine.” ​You spoke up. “Where’s connor?”​ Again, more silence filled the room. “​Guys?...Where’d he go.” ​Of course the boldest of the family spoke. “​He left. He said he wanted nothing to do with you or the family.” ​Damien spoke up. As the rest of the boys sighed with his bold statement, Dick glared over at his fellow brother, whom’st he wasn’t a favorite of.  You sat up slowly, Bruce’s hand behind your back.  They all knew how he was. Hurtful, Abusive and straight up mean. Dick sat on the edge of the couch. ​“We heard the yelling all the time, (Y/N)” ​You looked down. ​Your heart was shattered, and so was your shoulder to be quite honest.“Yeah, but I loved him…” ​Jason snickered. “​He didn’t love you.” Y​ou gave him a glare. Jason couldn’t speak up before your father figure, Bruce, said something. “​You didn’t need him anyways.”
