this is a way better model... you'll still get transphobic & intersexist drs of course but i prefer this to male / female or even having separate questions for gender & sex.

[we can't see the full form, but i'd suggest having a "something else" option and dominant hormone question too.]

as a cis woman who's had a hysterectomy and partial oophorectomy, this would be helpful for me, too! it'd be pointless to try to diagnose me for disorders that affect organs I don't have anymore, after all.

being inclusive helps us ALL. 💖

life really is like a movie. you can sit in the car and look out the window as the clouds drift by and notice how real it is, and then you can witness in awe as the sun peeks through them and shines rays of light onto everything, and you can be reminded of how much you've lived and how much living you still get to do, and everything will be okay

if doctor who ever stops bieng bad then it has stopped being good also

by which i mean not just that part of the charm of doctor who is in campiness and weird special effects and widl experimental stories made because the budget ran out but because the core premise of the show is that it's essentially an anthology without being an athology, the tardis is less of a plot device and more of a framing device, to bring the doctor and companions into a totally different story and genre every week. and it can be gritty dystopia or historical farce or heist film or pulp horror or psychological drama. the raeson doctor who has produced some of the best scifi TV ever made is the same reason its produced some of the worst TV ever made, because you can go into the doctor who writer's room and pitch almost literally any premise and get it made

the moment the show stops having episoides that make you say "why the fuck would they make this" out loud it loses its potential to have episodes that make you say "how the fuck did they make something this good". we got the twin dielmma for the same reason we got remembrance of the daleks. we got love and monsters for the same reason we got blink. this is the essence of doctor who, the best spaghetti-throwing arm in TV history

look, guys, this may seem ironic coming from a person with Verbose Disease, but I'm about to tell you the secret to winning social media: shutting the fuck up. you have a controversial discourse opinion? shut the fuck up and no one will know. can't participate in a boycott for various reasons? shut the fuck up and no one will know. you think or do something Problematic that has no bearing on anyone but yourself? shut the fuck up and no one will know. you haven't been keeping up on a pressing social issue? shut the fuck up and no one will know. your mind is a wonderful place where you can have all the bad takes in the world and they're all perfectly insulated from everyone and everything unless you try to excise them on a grand scale. you can take the mental L all by yourself without using a public platform as a confession booth and face zero repercussions and it'll be just fine. open up a damn diary and explain yourself there.

people will hear you talk about struggling with mental illness and say “you can do anything if you just put your mind to it”. brother what part of the body does the mental illness happen in. what do you think is the problem

“Lift with your legs you idiot!”

“I have a BROKEN TIBIA! That needs support and time to recover!”
