Well, my 10 year old rig finally kicked the bucket and I’m not in a position to replace it financially. :(

I recently returned to WoW and I’m currently playing on Moonguard-Alliance because I heard that WrA and MG Horde aren’t very active. Regardless, I would love to reconnect with my friends who are still playing!

Azshara’s Court - Guards (Part II)
During the Highborne era, most guards, including those who served as Queen Azshara’s personal protectors, were lowborn Kaldorei [The Demon Soul, Chapter Seven]. With the exception of the Moon Guard, anyone who had notable sorcerous abilities was typically Highborne, since magic was the exclusive birthright of society’s upper echelons. Most high ranking officers, such as Lord Kur’talos Ravencrest, were nobles, but not Highborne [Page: Kur’talos Ravencrest]. Specialization in both physical and magical combat may have not become commonplace until the Spellblades and spell-fencers of contemporary Nightborne society [Dungeon Journal: Spellblade Aluriel].
Before the Sundering, military service was a matter of bloodline over skill [Stormrage, Chapter One, The Demon Soul, Chapter Three], which effectively made joining the army into a status symbol [Page: Sentinels].
Sentinels and other guard organizations patrolled the edges of every major settlement. Although many were doubtful that the Kaldorei would harm their own, making it unnecessary for such policing, every settlement was permitted to maintain its own security for the comfort of the general populace. Lord Ravencrest and those like him watched the areas beyond the elven empire, ever vigilant of the non-elven races [The Well of Eternity, Chapter Seventeen].
The Guardsmen:
The Queen’s Royal Guard
Palace Guard
The Sentinels
Eldre’thar City Watch
The Rook’s Guard
General Startalon
Aelynn and Banlorus Truecaller
Lilyiana Meadowblade
Lady Hatecoil
High Ranger Valarian
Suramar Watch
The Duskwatch
The Nightguard
The Nightwatchers
For the Moon Guard, see here
Suramar Guard
Jarod Shadowsong
The Suramar Guard was Suramar’s central peacekeeping force before the Sundering. While most prisoners of any importance were held in Black Rook Hold, the Suramar Guard had a small facility designed to hold criminals. Although the prison was only the base of dead tree, the Suramar Guard was proud that there was no more solid building for holding prisoners except for Ravencrest’s Black Rook Hold [The Well of Eternity, Chapter Twenty-One].
Jarod Shadowsong
Jarod held the rank of captain in the Suramar guard [The Well of Eternity, Chapter Twenty]. Since the Shadowsongs are not of noble blood, he rose to the rank through virtue of his own hard work and skill [Page: Jarod Shadowsong].
The Duskwatch
Patrol Captain Gerdo <City Watch>
Victoire
Dalion <Armsmaster of the Duskwatch>
Guard Morgaine
Andaris Narassin
Lieutenant Strathmar (presumed)
Duskrider Silaryn (presumed)
Commander Domitille (presumed)
Captain Fiora (presumed)
The Duskwatch acts as Suramar’s primary guard force next to the Nightguard. It is unclear what relation the Duskwatch has to the Nightguard, if any.
Because the Duskwatch is a Nightborne regiment, it may not have existed before the Sundering in the capacity that it does now. However, it could be the successor of the old Suramar Guard.
Patrol Captain Gerdo
Gerdo has dedicated his entire life to keeping the peace in Suramar [Dungeon Journal, Court of Stars].
Andaris Narassin
Andaris is promoted to First Arcanist of the Duskwatch following Thalyssra’s exile [Quest: Those Scrying Eyes].
Andaris may be the sister of Allaris and Athrikus Narassin [Quest: Finding the Scepter].
The Nightguard
Spellblade Aluriel <Captain of the Magistrix’s Guard>
Thoramir <Second Blade of Elisande> (presumed)
Erasmus Moonblade <Second Blade of Elisande> (presumed)
Silgryn (presumed)
Captain Ghrail (presumed)
It is unclear what relation the Nightguard has to the Duskwatch, if any. Given that the Duskwatch acts as Suramar’s primary peacekeeping force, it is possible that the Nightguard are Elisande’s personal guards or the palace guard. Because Aluriel is both a member of the Nightguard and Captain of the Magistrix’s Guard, it might be that they are one in the same and that the Nightguard is, in fact, Elisande’s royal guard.
Spellblade Aluriel
Aluriel specialized in both physical and magical combat, making her the first Spellblade. She studied with the mages at the University of Suramar while spending her days in physical combat training. Eventually, Aluriel, who also spent some time in the Suramar artificery, crafted her own weapons and armor out of the Nightwell. She rose quickly through the ranks of the Nightguard [Dungeon Journal: Spellblade Aluriel].
Because of the references to the Nightwell and Nightguard in her biography, both of which may only have existed in post-Sundering Nightborne society, it is entirely possible that Aluriel was either not born before the Sundering, or did not hold such a prestigious rank in the guard before the Sundering.
Thoramir
Thoramir is one of Aluriel’s lieutenants and a skilled spell-fencer [Quest: Waxing Crescent].
Silgryn may rank above him [Quest: Waxing Crescent].
Erasmus Moonblade held the rank of Second Blade of Elisande up until his death, at which point it may have been given to Thoramir.
Silgryn
Silgryn has had thousands of years of training [NPC: Silgryn Sounds].
He may rank above Thoramir, since Thoramir tells him that his own position as one of Aluriel’s lieutenants and Second Blade of Elisande would have gone to Silgryn, had he not joined the Nightfallen rebellion [Quest: Waxing Crescent].
The Nightwatchers
Nightwatcher Thaldrys
Nightwatcher Ayelle
Nightwatcher Idri
Nightwatcher Merayl
Nar’thalas Nightwatcher
The Nightwatchers, which are led by Nightwatcher Thaldrys, are both the royal guards of Prince Farondis and main peacekeeping force for his city, Nar’thalas.

The final look I had planned for All Saints' Wake/Halloween. Last, but not least, V'nhisa as a demon. I hope you all have enjoyed these shots just as much as I did taking them.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to doing all of my All Saints’ Wake shoots before the month ended (Thanks maintenance). The holiday might be over but that doesn’t mean I still can’t dress up my characters. Here’s Hayami as a fairy!

In my restless dreams, I see that town. Silent Hill.
Happy Saint’s Wake, everyone. ♥
