PSA: Tumblr/Wordpress is preparing to start selling our user data to Midjourney and OpenAI.

you have to MANUALLY opt out of it as well.

to opt out on desktop, click your blog ➡️ blog settings ➡️ scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle.

to opt out on mobile, click your blog ➡️ scroll then click visibility ➡️ toggle opt out option.

if you’ve already opted out of showing up in google searches, it’s preselected for you. if you don’t have the option available, update your app or close your browser/refresh a few times. important to note you also have to opt out for each blog you own separately, so if you’d like to prevent AI scraping your blog i’d really recommend taking the time to opt out. Somewhere there’s a Izzy who gets to share lazy kisses that taste like too-sweet tea and slightly burned oatmeal cookies. Slow mornings- he gets to make a fool of himself, warm in his cozy slippers, murmuring silly nonsense and quiet promises. Ed smells like their body wash.

ATTENTION ARTISTS OF TUMBLR

since tumblr is going to start scraping blogs to train ai be sure to glaze and nightshade your art!! Not only will both of these programs protect your art from being copied but nightshade also poisons any ai that tries to steal it

here is some more info on these tools and where you can download them:

Good news, fellow artists! Nightshade has finally been released by the UChicago team! If you aren't aware of what Nightshade is, it's a tool that helps poison AI datasets so that the model "sees" something different from what an image actually depicts. It's the same team that released Glaze, which helps protect art against style mimicry (aka those finetuned models that try to rip off a specific artist). As they show in their paper, even a hundred poisoned concepts make a huge difference.

(Reminder that glazing your art is more important than nighshading it, as they mention in their tweets above, so when you're uploading your art, try to glaze it at the very least.)

Everyone reblog! Spread the word so more and more artists learn that in addition to Glaze that coats art against ai scraping mimicry there's also an offensive tool now, able to skew and poison data pools.

Now poisoning will need many artists to nightshade their art and it's most important to get this ou to those the most at risk of being scraped. Reblog!

Archangel of Death Azrael by @umulata

So he was teased a little in chapter 3. To my surprise, a couple days after I posted it, Umu messaged me with the final product! I'm telling you, they did wonders on this thing. Off of barely anything too.

SO! Azrael! For those who haven't seen Dogma, Azrael is a demon who's kinda working behind the scenes to erase all of existence. There's more to it, of course, but you know. I've played around some with his character in Good Dogma. For one, he's an Archangel here. The name Azrael wasn't his original name, but it's more of a title at this point. As is the status of Archangel, but you'll see.

He has a role he needs to play. Luckily, he knows how to play the system.

Here's a little spoiler I kinda wanna give... Many years from now, he's gonna start calling Crowley 'Beloved'. "Because you are oh so loved."

They invented love 😔 the whole artwork can’t be posted here (you can find it in my n/sfw twitter), cough, but these details might be nice enough on their own 🌸 your honor all I wanted was for them to be able to build some kind of calm and serene environment together. They don’t need to kiss. Although I’d be among those who would appreciate it.

As you enjoy S2 Ed's moral complexity and Izzy's emotional growth, please spare a thought for the fanwriters who were literally hounded out of your fandom for suggesting those plotlines might be on the cards.
