Just a guy. I like writing, have a gaming channel with a friend, and I'm re-watching some anime.

Honestly, this situation is beyond fucked up. I don't care if literally everything these freaks are saying about these people (Grummz, Asmongold, or anyone else concerned about the censorship in Stellar Blade) are true. They could all be porn addicted incels who never shower or go outside, I don't care, you don't get to put a fucking bounty on someone's head for any reason, let alone a fucking difference of opinions about a goddamn video game.

What the fuck is wrong with people? How did we get to this point? Fucks sake...

What a three-ring circus sideshow we live in.

People will look at Grummz's petition and ask, "Why is this so important? It's just some video game."

Well, apparently, it's important enough to the detractors to put a hit out on the guy against the censorship. That sounds pretty fucking important to me.

And before anybody comes out saying, "Oh, they were only joking." Saying you'll pay someone $20,000 to kill a guy isn't a joke, it's a criminal offense. And joking that you'll add to that amount, with the joke being a delayed "only if you do this other thing too" is not funny either.

I'm an electrical engineer and for the longest time I was saying that electricity and electronics isn't magic, but think about it.

You literally have to collect rare stones from remote locations, put them into specific formations to work. All of this gets written down in symbols which don't make sense to the uninformed. It gets powered by energy which can not be seen in most cases.

Like what else do you want. What's your standard for calling something magic.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

I made a related post earlier in the day. Dragons are the conclusions people made from incomplete fossils, oil is liquefied fossils, we run our cars by burning the remains of dragons.

Avatar

So, dragons are people hundreds of years ago digging up dinosaur fossils and, only having part of a skeleton, came to a wrong conclusion.

Petroleum is made by processing oil, which is fossils submerged and pressurized into a liquid state over millions of years.

A common trope some years back is people displaced in time finding cars amazing.

Put these facts together, you tell a person from hundreds of years ago your metal birds and horseless carriages are able to move by burning the remains of dragons.

Listen, like or dislike the series, you can not argue that out of all of the Heisei riders, Den-O is the most consistent and persistent in its story.

Where previous riders had inconsistencies in their movies, due to the scripts having issues with the movie production times, Den-O masterfully worked its movie in the middle of ongoing story and pulled the repercussions into the series.

Post series, where Decade and (occasionally) Zi-O played off of a sort of "What if" storyline, Den-O's story played mostly the same as before, actually giving reason to almost all changes that happened in them (Exception of Zi-O in the actual series, where Ryoutaro is MIA. Question of what happened between movie and series left unanswered.)

Basically, Den-O is consistent as hell, and it also has great character songs for all rider forms.

And this is after having gone through and rewatched all the Heisei riders again.

Managed to get Inarizushi on this, the day Jinka goes off. It is only appropriate.

Tama: "I love my friends and humans just as they are!"

Jinka: Is actively eating rocks

Also, damn, they made Jinka's ascension so much more intense. Like, holy shit.

ACT 1 COMPLETE

Avatar

Decided to start on animated Garo. Gotta say, he has a point about his armor inheritance, but German's character I more expect from a makai priest, not a knight.

I mean, really, Rei is probably the most flippant RL Garo knight, and you'd never see him naked on the street.

... that last sentence probably made a few people cry.

Avatar

Douren: "You fought well, you can take my head if you like."

Tama: "We don't need it."

Jinka: "I kinda want it."

Tama: "TOO BAD!"

Also, something that I've loved since the manga.

It was Shakugan that taught Shinsuke how to converse with Arabuke. And it was Arabuke that broke Shinsuke's rage at Resshin.

In a way, it was Shakugan that broke Shinsuke's rage. And it's just a beautiful show of love.

Seems about 13 episodes per act (not counting if there's recap episodes) looking forward to the act 1 finale and act 2.

Current language goal: Being able to play the first Sakura Taisen game without a translated guide.

Difficulty: Listen, there's N1 level kanji in the first dialog line. It's gonna be difficult.

Current progress: Well, I'm currently using Duolinguo, and I'm at Section 3/5 Unit 34/45 (for section). I'm making progress.

If that lid won't come off, it is simply because you are not trying hard enough. Dig deep. Reach from within and muscle HARDER. Leverage it, and muscle it, all at once.

In other words, when the first attempt fails, lock in and do this.

If it's a metal lid, run it under hot water for a little while. The metal expands faster than the glass, loosening the lid - just remember to wipe it dry before trying again, so the water doesn't spoil your grip.

They also make convenient rubber grip disks specifically for helping open jars, if memory serves.

If it's a metal lid (olives, pickles, etc.) use a bottle opener to bend the edge enough to break the air seal. The lid tends to be flexible enough that it returns back to its regular shape and you can open it easily from there.

Git my Inarizushi early for today, ready for Jinka's assault on the dangaishu.

Edit: Seriously, parts are missing from my mind, but Douren kicking ass is always at the top of memory.

Flicky Tama ears ftw.

Edit 2: Oooh, this is what I've been waiting for for part 1. Jinka levels up and Shinsuke gets his fight with Barry.

Considering where it leaves the fight, I feel it's gonna be more than a 12 episode season. We might get all 3 acts before the year is out. I'm excited.
