A small smirk slips on her face as she clucks her tongue, leaving her arms wrapped around his neck, allowing his words sink in; The girl had been taller back in her childhood, they had been the same height for such a long time but then she stopped growing. (At least, vertically.) So it was natural, for her to be at least some what jealous (and a tad bit bothered) about the sudden gap between their faces. At times, she felt like she was looking up to a mountain, and climbing up it to get a small kiss everyday was hard. She started to wonder if she should just wait until he sat down, or have him pick her up every time she wanted one; it’d be a lot simpler and a lot easier for the her, anyway. Sunmi enjoyed the change in perspective. She was able to stand here comfortably, no standing on the tips of he toes until or legs shake or awkward (perhaps slightly suggestive) shifting that sitting on him brought– She could easily look him in the eyes. And of course, it felt amazing to be so tall. It made her wonder how taller people didn’t get a thrill off of how cockier it made her feel. She was in such a good mood tonight, a few light drinks in her system, that she smiles a little bigger than usual; her shyness forgotten at this point. “I will always be taller than you at heart and that’s what matters.” It was natural of her, to be competitive, being ‘the best’ made her feel important, made her feel worth something so it wasn’t surprising that she did so; The video games, small tasks, little tings that would be a small competition for them. It wasn’t a compulsive desire, she’d lose and be just fine, but she never saw anything wrong with a little competition; Especially when it seemed to give her what she wanted. The change in topic as her smile softening; She wanted the pair of boys to get along so bad; both of them had made her happy and she loved both of them in different ways and seeing Jaehwa put in so much effort and care so much about it makes her heart melt, earning another kiss from the girl.
Sunmi had a habit that made it easy to mold and sculpt her like play doh; She had a habit of making excuses when people wronged her, a habit of letting people who in who shouldn’t.– specifically when that person meant so much to her. It wasn’t that she shouldn’t gotten back with Jaehwa, but there should’ve been bigger consequences, a bigger break. And the conversation had only made her think of the times where she naively trusted other people.– Her good old friend Paranoia slipping into her skin and giving her goosebumps. There’s an uncomfortable pit at the bottom of her stomach and she didn’t want to talk about it anymore, but she’d let it go with just a simple, “You didn’t really lie just.. don’t keep things from me I guess. But it’s okay– I kept all this away from you too. I didn’t want you to be disappointed in me.” And it was true; she knew people had expected and wanted bigger things from her; they wanted her to get rich with her intelligence, marry well and be happy– This was neon of that,(well minus the happy part; she was very content with her life right now.) but she wouldn’t– No, couldn’t, complain. Because one minor change could’ve stopped her from becoming the person she was today. She’s originally surprised by the kiss, but his lips feel so soft against her’s that it leaves her lingering a bit, her hands slipping from the back of his neck to run down his shoulders before fixing his tie, “You look do fucking good in that tux.” she remarked, making a mental note to buy it for him.
He’s pulling her before she can process what’s happening, lips parting as she tries to ask where there going– stoping midway as she realizes her body had known all along what this walk was leading to, judging by the urgent need to press her thighs together. She can feel heart pulse start to rise, and a wave of shivers runs down her body but she’s estatic. Sunmi had known from the minute they had first had sex that she was the kinkier of the two; and while she didn’t mind holding off majority of what she was into, it wasn’t like there were things she didn’t want to try with him. It wasn’t his rejection of her dieas that prevented her from bringing it up, (Well in part it was.) but it was more so she just didn’t know how. So you can imagine the elation in her chest as it dawns on her that he’s starting something that she’s into without her even hinting at it. A shy giggle slips inbetween her painted lips, looking caround the crowd to see if any one was watching. Would they get caught? Would they miss her? She doubted it. The married couple seemed to be intermingling, but she had caught Minho and Song Ah together and she knew she could easily bribe Hansol into staying quiet about it if they were caught, so she allows him to back her into the room, already feeling the familliar tingle creep up through her body. This excited her; it gave her a rush she hadn’t felt in a long time and it made her wonder what exactly has brought this on? His own need? Jealousy? Her bottom lips is taught between her teeth, slowly backing into the closet as her eyes adjust to the new found darkness.
Anticipation was never her forte– It was definitely one of the things she hated the most about being so submissive. She hated when she was needy, or just turned on in general and the other took a long time to give her what she needed. But that didn’t mean she’d stop him; There was something about knowing his eyes were on her, and only her, that made her revel in every glance she got from him. In fact, she’s so busy looking at him look at her that she jumps a little at his fingers pushing her dress to the side, resisting the urge to hike it up and show him what she knows he wants to look at it. But she stops herself not wanting to go too fast but knowing they do need to hurry. The sudden grip of her thigh and his body pressed against her’s causes her to whimper, hands lightly touching his neck before the trail to the sides of his arms and she pulls away from him to trail kisses from his neck to his ear, “Do you know how good I’d look without it on? All fucked out? begging for more? Don’t you want to see that baby? ”
An amused smile pulls at his lips but he can’t find it in him to disagree. Whatever helped her sleep at night. And he knew she had a bigger, taller heart than he did. Jaehwa was willing to let her have this one, no matter how competitive they both were. “R-Really? Thanks. Don’t think I’ve ever dressed so sharp in my life,” he muttered, brushing fingers over the suit jacket. It was a miracle it even fit, since he was iffy about the measurements he’d given. But he was relieved to hear that Sunmi thought he looked good- he wouldn’t have dressed up at all if he wasn’t Sunmi’s date, if he had only been there to crash the wedding like the rest of his members.
He was still seething, but since it seemed like the wedding party had it in themselves to let it go, let bygones by bygones he had no choice but to let it be water under the bridge. He hoped that this would be the last time he had to choose the girl he loved over his loyalty to the gang- but knowing the way the world worked, it probably wouldn’t be. He could only try to do better. Jaehwa didn’t want to lie to her anymore, and he wouldn’t- unless it was a white lie told to protect her. He would have to be more forthcoming about what was going on his life, what he was really like and what terrible things he’d continue to dirty his hands with. Communication has never been his strong suit, and he lied to her the first night they had sex to protect his pride- pretended to be more experienced than he was (which is to say, not at all) because most would’ve thought someone his age would’ve lost his virginity already- especially because of the kind of life he led. But he was extremely picky, and he was put off by the idea of having sex with anyone he didn’t have some kind of emotional connection with.
The fact that he’d reunited with his childhood bestfriend- his first crush, first love? And then he’d been told that she lived in Korea permanently now. It felt like fate was tempting him. With just a few dates, everything he’d felt back then- spending time with her and getting to know each other all over again reignited his love her with just the toss of a match. He wasn’t as innocent as he’d been in the past, and while he still teased her as often as possible, the supposedly last innocent thing about him had been nipped in the bud, thanks to Sunmi. He knew how stressed out she could get, and while it was a happy night with only one surprising twist- it was probably enough to stress her out and cause her to have some doubts. Jaehwa wasn’t great with words. He was better with touch, and he planned on doing whatever he could to get Sunmi’s mind off of it.
