open: m/f/nb connection: stranger summary: beck gets caught up chasing after a robber

they raced throughout the shopping streets, beck was hot on his heels and was so close to grabbing him by the back of his jacket and forcing him to the ground. his jaws were tense as his eyes narrowed in, trying to avoid people the best he could but there was this one person he didn’t see in time. slamming straight into the innocent by-stander, his heart thumped as he hurried to put his hand under the back of their head as they crashed to the ground. his weight pushing down on the stranger. “are you alright?” the officer sat up hurriedly to keep from crushing the other.

his eyes scanned the streets as he made his way through the back streets, he volunteered to take a late night shift since sleep wasn’t visiting him at night anyway. the officer noticed a dark bundled up figure trying to hurry their way through the cold winds. frowning slightly, he checked his mirror before pulling up to the curb next to them and getting out. “excuse me.” he had hoped that his uniform had eased them from him meaning any harm. “wind chills are below zero tonight, are you alright?”

“if you were a guy standing there without a police uniform, then you might have a point. but they’re more likely to think that i’m getting arrested for bad behavior,’ she said, but she got away from the window none the less. she really didn’t want to get any pictures taken of her right then. she was lucky that he had gotten to the back before she had gotten sick. she didn’t need fan sites uploading those kinds of pictures. “i’m sorry that you’re stuck here instead of doing something useful. no one’s about to kill me inside of a hospital. the attempt at killing me wasn’t even a good one,” she sighed, letting her head rest back. she was still in a bit of shock that someone hated her enough to do that. but no one could predict what an anti-fan would do.

beck released a deep breath and shifted from foot to foot, the one thing he hated was just to be standing there and doing nothing. resting his forehead against the cool glass to soothe his growing headache. “yeah.” that’s all he offered as a reply, silently wondering when he would be relieved at least for a lunch break and then would pretend he couldn’t make it back in. “maybe they’ll feel bad for me and change me out soon.” moving to the other side of the window, he reached up to rub at his eyes before glancing up at the sky. it wasn’t that beck didn’t like idols, it was just tiring the whole thing was.

I would love a plot where muse a is a very popular idol or a breaking into the scene idol. The problem is that reporters watch their every single move. Then there’s muse b the lover of muse a. Muse b is just normal, not an idol, model, or actor/actress. Gimme the angst of having to sneak to see each other, the worry of muse b getting pulled into the mess, busy schedules may cause for a break up. I need it!!

there was just one police officer left, and he was looking out of the window. even though she should have been remaining in the bed, she was already standing up and keeping the hospital gown tight around her as she peeked outside. “they spend half the time calling me a demon for how badly behaved i am. but right now they’re more than happy to make me a victim because someone tried to murder me,” danielle grumbled, seeing some familiar reporters out there. “… i don’t know why they did this. usually you would expect this because someone has rumors with their male bias,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest. and there were no such rumors about her.

eyes scrunching, the male yawned exposing his braces at the short moment as he shrugged his shoulders. he’s heard about her here and there but never went digging for information since there was no reason to honestly. “officer kim will figure it out for you.” his words were clipped since he had received strict orders not to talk too much with the victim because of her status as an idol. “maybe you should get out the window though.” beck glanced around to make sure no other officers were around before speaking comfortably. “if reporters look up in the window and see me and you standing here, it’ll be a scandal and i don’t really want to be in that mess.” there was nothing poisonous behind his words, just a warning for her. “you should rest.”

Perhaps Daehyun likes to read a little too much for his own good, but given that the cold weather limits his outings and adventures, he doesn’t have much better to do with his time. After his shift at the library, he makes it a point to check out as many books as he’s allowed, and attempts to carry them all the way home on his own. The only issue is that the stack is so tall that it blocks his vision, and one book after the other seems to tumble over and onto the ground after every few steps. Trying to bend down to re-stack them is a difficult task, and the prince is getting a little frustrated, to say the least…

finally a day off for the officer, the cold didn’t bother him especially since his senses were dull so here he was. walking along with a steaming veggie bun when he took notice of someone struggling their way along. his lips twitched in amusement and he tilted his head as he attempted to get a view of the other but too many books. covering the bun up, he pushed it into his jacket pocket before making his way over. “need some help?” his voice was kind as he picked over the fallen books and took some more from the other to care, finally being able to see his face fully. “maybe try and bring a bag with you next time.”

@vntimx receives a starter from danielle.

“isn’t this all a little bit of an overkill?” danielle asked, scrunching up her nose as she looked at the male. deep down, she knew that it wasn’t. she had been hospitalized after a fan meeting, after receiving a water bottle diluted with bleach. her mouth had started burning and she had gotten sick. but she was fine. “i’d feel better if i was at the dorms, i doubt that anyone is going to go to the extent of trying to kill me in my sleep,” danielle sighed but there was no point in arguing. her company was strict with what she was to do; shut up, let the police officer keep her alive.

beck wanted so badly to agree with her, there was way too many cops and he could be out patrolling while this is settled, but his boss was right there and he couldn’t just walk out. he remained silently and standing near the window inside the hospital room to stand guard, he had been chosen to stay until she was finally let out and he could tell there was going to bit of complaining from her. he silently watched as his boss sympathized with her before leaving out, leaving the pair alone. turning around, beck gazed out the window and took notice of the few reporters around. “mmm..”
