anyway the absolute worst (positive) part for me was jeongguk saying he probably could have been influenced the other way if he weren’t surrounded by such good people and yoongi saying not only that he’s surrounded by good people bc jeongguk himself is a good person but also refusing to entertain any scenario where jeongguk is not the pinnacle of goodness in general

Babe I need you to unlearn the need for people to co-sign with you for you to take steps into your future or be happy about your progress because they wont. People don't sign up for the process the sign up for the results and the pain of success is the process is lonely and almost no one actually roots for you to win. Until you get successful no one cares. At all. No one. It's harsh but it's life.

Other day I had perfect advice for a family member that could change their life but they paid no attention to it. Mom told me- get rich first. No one will take you seriously if you have no authority in this life and beauty and money are the ultimate authority in a woman's life. The example she gave was back when she was broke af no one cared about her ideas and dreams but once the money started coming in even her mother was thirsty for her opinion.When I was watching You Tube videos on skincare and telling everyone around me what to do with their skin no one took me seriously, all I got is a know-it-all title that drove a rift between me and mine because damn I'm just trying to help?? Too naive to realize people don't want help they want coddling and sympathy. Fast forward to when I actually started taking care of my skin and dieting and looking hot and now the same people in my dms talking about omg you're glowing!! What's the secret?? Why? Because I carry with me the authority of beauty and results. Back then I'd try to get my sister to do skincare and dieting with me, she said she would but never took off so I didn't take off with it, I needed the co-signong of it. It's only now that I have results that she wants to talk about a food timetable- that's the power of results.

I need you to understand right now you'll have to do it alone and the only power of influence you'll have is results. When you need people to cosign with your vision for you to chase it you'll be stuck. Even in job interviews they require experience, show us the results first then you'll get the opportunity. I understand that the human species is a tribal species, a social one and in some innate way we must have someone to share the experience with or our success is basically void and useless. That's the fabric of our species, you can't unneed that, but you can postpone it. The female of our species is wired to want and need kids from the second your PMS hit and some of us NEVER have kids, even though the desire is innate and biological our logical need and desire to achieve before we procreate or never is stronger. Practice this form of abstinence on your social aspect in terms of your goals and overdose on your social aspect in terms of friends and family, or find the birth control version of your need to cosign / share the experience. If you're lucky enough to co-sign with people that are actually interested and believe in you drop the tutorial babe don't be shy ;)

Ladies to achieve anything worthwhile in this life you have to get very comfortable with the idea of embarrassment ,disappointment, resistance and ostracization from your current environment.

When you start out posting on socials, your current friends, family, classmates, and neighbors will laugh at you. They'll call you pretentious and put you down every step you take. Online trolls will call you a wannabe and put you down and compare you to others. You'll deal with six likes on a post that took you hours to perfect. When you get your first brand deal, it'll be as low value as it gets.Then there will be all the virtue signaling and getting canceled and character anhiliation that comes with projected envy. When you start that business, your friends will expect discounts and debt and cut you off for not giving them one. When you start getting successful, they'll feel entitled to your success and hate on you for not crediting them to it. When you decide to leave the country, your own parents will come at you from angles higher than 360°. When you decide to dress better and sit upright and smell nice, your current friend group that's used to low balling you will have a group chat called 'lmaoo she looks so stupid'.

This is the price of success. Success is lonely. Its hard work and being underestimated. It's losing best friends and rifts in your family. You'll shower in tears and triple guess every decision you've taken. Success is uncomfortable and slow, and it will cost you friendships and relationships, and comfort.

If you can't stomach this, don't try. If you can't imagine not being friends with your current friends or your own family backbiting and badmouthing you at family gatherings and your cousins laughing at you and ex classmates from 2014 trolling your work stay where you are.

If you decide to chase your dreams understand you'll be running solo. Understand your mom and bf and bestie said 'I'll support you through everything ' to be polite and they might even have meant it but the second you start showing up as a different person than what they're comfortable with there will be resistance and be ready to work through it with them while staying true to your goals.

If you choose the success way forget the romanticized success stories. It's gruesome . It's survival only for the fittest, abd either go big or go home mediocre, there is no mid point.

Phew you spoke facts, I have experience like 90% of this already.
