hi folks i know that a lot of you still love these books and movies (i do too) but I made this post years ago and it only recently started gaining notes (and i’ve been on tumblr in the hunger games fandom for a looooong time so when I said it was dead it was because all of the main accounts moved on like i did)

Do you ever feel bad about abandoning a blog? Like I had a really successful hunger games blog ( @drunkhaymitch) that amassed over 3,000 amazing followers but I eventually grew out of the fandom? It just seems weird that it was such a big part of my life and now I have this blog

For a moment, my eyes are dazzled by the bright sunlight and I’m conscious only of a strong wind with the hopeful smell of pine trees. Then I hear the legendary announcer, Claudius Templesmith, as his voice booms all around me. “Ladies and gentlemen, let the Seventy-fourth Hunger Games begin!”
Slowly I raise my eyes and take in the water spreading out in every direction. I can only form one clear thought. This is no place for a girl on fire. “Ladies and gentlemen, let the Seventy-fifth Hunger Games begin!”
so this blog used to be my pride and joy but I've grown as a person and feel like I've sort of moved on from this blog. I will still have it active and check in every once and a while, but if you want to keep following my antics I will be on @princesskerttu thank you <3
