people are upset about it because it gives an unnecessary and unfair advantage to tickets. the boosts are pretty much saying that if you have more money, you’re gonna have high priority when tickets are released because you spent more money. people who are saying they can’t afford merch, can’t afford it on top of a ticket just to get a line boost. it shouldn’t be about money when all just want an equal chance to get tickets and not have them swiped up by bots or scalpers.

i love the new taylor swift x ticket master thingy like the concept is super cool but the thing where buying merch gives you boosts makes me so uncomfy.... i really am not less of a fan because i cant afford a 45$ t shirt with 30$ shipping and the fact that people are mindlessly considered more important because they can spend money is just so.......... not okay?
