Prime Video Orders Tomb Raider Live-Action Series
Prime Video announced today that it has ordered a Tomb Raider series with Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) set as writer and executive producer. The project comes as part of a deal between Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios, originating through dj2’s first-look deal with the studio, to develop additional Tomb Raider stories in streaming and film.
"If I could tell my teenage self that this was happening, I think she’d explode. Tomb Raider has been a huge part of my life and I feel incredibly privileged to be bringing it to television with such passionate collaborators. Lara means a lot to me, as she does to many, and I can’t wait to go on this adventure. Bats ‘n all," said Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
"I’m so happy to announce that we have ordered the epic, globetrotting series Tomb Raider from the incredibly gifted Emmy-award winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge and the team at Crystal Dynamics," said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios. "Fans and newcomers can look forward to exhilarating adventures that honor the legacy of this iconic character."

Hurray, finally done! It's based on a quick pencil drawing I did a couple years back, I still liked the idea so I made it in colour.
(Though I'm worried I encountered my old enemy - drawing things in one picture with different levels of realism🫣)
I think it's really cool how the beginning and the end of Lara and Werner's adventures together have a pretty distinct lighting and colour palette.
And the moods of Lara and Werner are also… distinctly different 😅

Tomb Raider 1 Remaster - Caves:
"We are back to raid some Tombs, and it's time to tackle 6 Tomb Raider games (3 main games and the 3 expansions). I've already talked about all of these games, so I will mainly focus on the changes. The caves is one of the most boring levels in the franchise, but the new little details adds so much beauty to it. This intro alone makes me excited to see the rest of the game."
