Saw a tired old butterfly having trouble staying stable in a very windy parking lot in a very greasy parking spot, so I scooped them up in my hands and carried them to a nice grassy area so they can enjoy thier last moments of peace instead of fighting for thier life against the winds.
I like butterflies. They're one of my favorite animals. Them and moths.

You have no idea how happy that makes me. It literally was my favorite flavor back in 2008, so much so, that I had made it my rarely used self-insert's signature snack for a while in my old Sonic 06 AU because I was 17 back then and thought that product placement in fanfiction was peak writing, lol.

Y'know, it's almost May now, and I'm still wondering when Aaron Sparrow is going to be releasing that alleged canceled 2011 DWD Boom Comics QuackerJack Goes on a Rampage arc he promised to post way back in October.
Does that thing even exist, or did he just blurt that out to try and steal hype from the new DWD Dynamite Comics?
Like, it's been 6 months, are you going to share them or not? The hype is starting to dwindle.

Mei Mei has been extra snuggly and friendly now that she's feeling better*.
She's a little more aloof than the others, especially compared to Zilla, our little introvert, but she still likes contact, as long as she's the one to initiate. She just doesn't like to be hugged on like Hook or Buttons, and that's absolutely fine. Cats have preferences and boundaries too, and just because I'm a bigger creature doesn't mean I should ignore her established rules of contact. And right now, she wants to headbutt me, which is actually a nice display of mutual trust and respect from a cat, by the way. Be sure to return that with a nice forehead touch if possible, cats love that sort of affection~
* She had a bit of a worm problem that she'd gotten from eating a bug that got in the house, but she, the other kitties and Tori all got the treatment and further preventive meds because rural indoor pets can still get this stuff from things that hitch a ride into the house somehow. Friendly Reminder to keep up with your pets' vaccines and preventive Healthcare, especially if they're indoor animals. A flea or an infected bug can still get past the threshold of your domicile and bite or be ingested. Parasites are definitely a major squick of mine, I especially hate it when they try to infect those I care about, bleh...

I'm incredibly happy, they look great IRL and they're so comfy and Teenager!Me would be so envious that Modern!Me got not only a pair of Converse shoes to customize, but a second pair to just have. I'm not kidding when I say I wanted Converse shoes so bad as a kid, this is so worth the wait and time to develop my art skills a bit more because young me would have probably drawn swirly scribbles that looked good but not very coherent. 😍
Been a few months, and I still think these shoes are awesome~

A note about Jacky's crest feather design in the AU: They follow Mickey Ears/Goku Hair Rules, in which the main recognizable shape remains consistent and will snap onto place under most circumstances when you look at it.
You can cheese it a bit sometimes, but the direction of the top most prominent tuft set ((the three)) will usually face in the same direction of his beak.

I got ahold of a transmogrification potion via a nice price ((200k NP)) after finding out I had a coin worth 1.5mil(!) NP in my safety deposit box, and after upgrading my Neopian Bank Account, I snapped that up.
I'm still working on collecting specific things, with a current priority on getting a Water Paint Brush without wiping out my Neopoints in one go, but here's my other Neopets on this account: QuackyJacky, Megavolty, ReggieBushroot, BuddyFlud, BeansyBunny and GlitterDrops.
Fun Fact: Evangilligan's name is an orphaned punchline to a joke between my sister-in-law and me, called "Neon Genesis Evangilligan's Island ["Get in the Robot, Little Buddy!"]"

To be fair, Gregory WAS there after hours, and as far as the Animatronics sans Freddy knew, he was there taking them out systematically like a pint sized Batman in the Arkham games, as far as they knew, this kid wanted them reduced to scrap, and who knows how they all reacted when they saw the aftermath each time they'd stumble on what's left of each other.
I'd be a little angry too if I was them.
