They should feel deep shame. They don't. But they all should.

I find it interesting that Janus' place is not just beside Patton but also directly across & farthest from Virgil. It seems like perhaps he's trying to respect Virgil's boundaries & desire to be as far away from the "dark" sides as possible.

And in that same way, I find it HYSTERICAL that Remus' place is directly beside Virgil between him & Roman, who he has been finding comfort in while his relationships with Patton & likely Logan as well have been strained. Like Remus is trying to make Virgil uncomfortable on purpose.

i just. think it really speaks volumes of how they're both trying to approach being accepted— Janus is trying to conform & be semi respectful despite no one else's intentions of giving him the same grace in return, and Remus doesn't care what they think of him or what they want, and insists on his presence being accepted the way it is, uncomfortableness & all.
