Can we always be this close?

Actually I wanted to post this on valentinesday, but somehow I wasn‘t happy with it …although I redrew it so many times. ..so I didn‘t post it. The last one I posted was a picture I was really proud of, but somehow it didn‘t got so much attention, so I was very unsure about posting this.

But I needed to remind myself that I draw for fun and need to be still proud of my works. So I decided to post it, even so it has it’s flaws.

I also want to thank everyone who supports me! All your likes and lovely words really make my day !

As someone who has been knee-deep into One Piece recently - and basically has witnessed the series as well as Digimon Adventure since the early 2000s -, it's impossible not to spot certain parallels between the series. I mean, they're both Toei productions, right...?

Imagine having a fierce redhead, who has been dealing with self-imposed burdens for quite a while, traumatized by a saddening encounter with her mother, lying to herself about not caring for her friends in order not to let anybody get too close... Just for her efforts to end up reducing her to tears, making her feel like everything she did was in vain, that nobody understands her and that nobody should try to help her... That her "love" doesn't mean anything...

... Just to have one of her closest companions, leader, handing her his most valuable item, promising to help her, no matter what. To save her, risking his own life for her sake.

Did I just talk about Nami and Luffy or Sora and Taichi? Who knows...

First time putting anything of my work out in the world of the internet, and of course it has to be homegirl.

IT’S MY TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY AS AHIDDENPATH!

On September 30, 2012, I published the very first chapter of Growing Up with You.  Today marks ten years of digimon fanficton and fanart!  Thank you all so much for hanging out in my little slice of internet, it really means a lot.  I’m so grateful to you all.

I have a special anniversary project brewing, but for now, I’m focusing on Koushiro week (which starts on October 3)!  I can’t wait to share what I’m working on with you.

Fanfiction and the Tumblr digimon community have been a huge part of my life for a decade.  Thank you so much <3
