does anyone else feel like it's all hopeless or is it just me
you will live and you will say the wrong things and make mistakes and people will love you anyways.
i made this post because i've got so many friends that think saying something wrong in a conversation is the end of the world. it isn't. you'll be okay. you don't have to be embarrassed about every little thing. you are alive and doing things and speaking to people. you will make mistakes and you will live.
watching this shit on a loop today

The only good thing about long COVID is that it made the medical community admit myalgic encephalomyelitis is likely caused my viral exposure. We were like βHey, I had a virus and just never got better.β and doctors were like βThatβs silly. And stupid. Chronic fatigue syndrome is just a random vague constellation of symptoms. Or just depression. Itβs all in your head.β and now doctors are experiencing it.
I hoped COVID would have helped people understand that a viral illness isnβt βjust a virusβ, it can irreversibly wreck your health and ruin your quality of life, cause permanent damage to your body, make you more likely to develop cancer and yes, cause chronic fatigue syndrome. But no. The public is still downplaying it. If youβre not dead, youβre fine.
Or its "Why have so few people returned to the workforce, where did they go? Huh. A mystery."
They're too ill to work anymore or they're caring for loved ones who are to ill to work anymore. And that's not even counting how many people have died.
actually for fusies, letβs make it a poll
original post for context:
I could cut back to survive on 10K a month, I've done it before. I would probably collect one, maybe two months at 14hrs/day before, uh, dying. I've done those. A month, when I was in my twenties, ruined me. I was simply never suited to BigLaw.
......what? Am I missing something? Do I live somewhere weird? We support a family of 4 on like $4k a month?

You only need to know one thing: meow.
[Video transcript:
(Meow in the background. The meows continue through the video.)
So, (meow) today I am making... (meow) (snicker) pine- (meow) pinecone dice. (meow) (meow) My cat- (meow) He- (meow) He wants to narrate, too (meow). SHUT UP, THUNDER. (a beat.) He's not allowed in the bedroom (meow) 'cause he beats my other cat up (meow) and she's in here right now (meow) so he's throwing a fit.
Anyways, we're making pineco- (wheeze) i lost my train of thought.
So, I use- (meow) (exasperated) pi- i can't fucking these blank inserts (meow) to put the pinecones in (a series of meows interrupt) and then I put the pl- I had this all planned out and I was gonna explain exactly what I was doing and then the (meow)... the CAT... Anyways I hope you like the dice, bye.

OK to make a font out of your own writing
go here
instead of printing it off just use this blank thing that way you dont have to scan it or anything
so fill that out by pasting it in any art program and whatnot
then save it and upload it to that site
and itll give you an option to download it
so do that and then install it BAM
I JUST GOT THIS ON MY TABLET ITβS SO COOL OH MY GOD
for some reason it refused to recognize the third page of my letters but they were all pretty unnecessary mathematic things anyway so Iβm not too worried. still something to keep in mind though, I hope it doesnβt happen for you!
paintfont.com would be a good place to go to quickly make a custom font for your comic!
ehh
It looks just as horrible in real life..even worse with the letter attachedβ¦
Iβll try this later.
you can also use alternative alphabets
Welp. Guess I know what font Iβm gonna be using for comics from now on. B)
Welp. Looks like I have to do this now. So I can use this for Tengriβs asks.
For some reason there is no apostrophe in my set, but it still looks cool.
NEAT THING ALERT
The site is now calledΒ https://www.calligraphr.com/en/Β but itβs basically the same!
Iβve been wanting to make one of these out of my dadβs handwriting, he does last year and he used to write everything down about his life
calligraphr is a godsend for webcomic artists
This problem is nothing new, but this specific example with these numbers puts it into a fucking brutal perspective.
To put these numbers a different way: A Taco Bell burrito that used to cost ~7 minutes and 20 seconds of minimum wage work now costs ~30 minutes and 30 seconds of minimum wage work.
You used to be able to work at Taco Bell anywhere in the country and make enough money in one hour to buy at least 8 burritos (maybe 9 if you're a manager or something) and feed, like, 3-4 people a decently-filling meal. But now, the same amount of work at the same job will get you one meal for one person. And this change has happened over a mere 15 years.
Remember this whenever you see rich people demonize younger generations for our financial situations, when they call us irresponsible for not investing a ton of money in savings accounts.
the sheer chaos that was pedro pascal at the sag awards.
said he was drunk. was visibly drunk. forgot everyone's names. didn't give a fuck about saying fuck. almost cried. flirted with tan france. left his envelope on stage. threatened to make out with kieran culkin.
no one stop him.
@coulsons-band every now and then I see your post pop up again and it makes me smile so much when I think back of that night π
