Plant your love

Inside my soul,

Bloom & blossom there,

So that I can feel

your presence to the core of me,

as I stroll through gardens

Of the depths of your very being.

Srebrenica's landscape of graves in the memorial center for the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, commited by serbian soldiers in july of 1995. the three dots are a stand in for all of the victims whose bodies are yet to be recovered from hidden mass graves that serbian soldiers have scattered them in.

friendly reminder that you don’t owe men shit

A series of seven infographics created by The Depression Project. TheDepressionProject.com

Image 1: The title image. The 5 Types of People You Need To Check In On. The word Need is highlighted. Below are 5 people icons, just the head and shoulders. The same level of detail as in a bathroom sign in a public bathroom.

Image 2: The person who has been acting "out of character" lately. Whether this is "snapping" at something small or behavior more "recklessly", it's important to checck in and understand the cause behind this change.

Image 3: The person who has gone quiet. Often people socially withdraw when they're overwhelmed, the symptoms of their mental illness are severe, or when they're emotionally exhausted. They may need space to recharge, but just showing you're thinking of them and you care can still be so heart-warming.

Image 4: The person who is always "the helper" for others. Because their needs matter too... and they've learned how to appear "okay" while they care for others (even when they're struggling).

Image 5: The person who has had some "big changes" lately. Whether it's moving cities, a change in their relationship status, or a big change at work, these things can be very unsettling and taxing on one's mental health as they adjust.

Image 6: The person who displays low mood or is distressed. Because there's something unsettling in their "inner world" and they may need your support through it.

Image 7: Please check in on these people. Share to raise awareness. Small image of a paper airplane.
