hey you. you keep beating yourself up. trying to hold every tear that’s about to fall any time soon. You said you don’t wanna feel this again but here you are back at it. And they don’t seem to understand what exactly is going through your mind... they think it’s just so lame. Well maybe it is. But hope you’re fine. You’ll be fine. You just need some diversion. You need to pull the plug out. Find something to do than to wait there. Wait for the attention, wait for them to understand ... keep yourself so busy that you barely have time to think, to overthink. Deep breath. Calm yourself. Divert your attention and seek happiness from within you.

This is the only photo I took today: my detox coffee to jump start my day. I’m planning on buying a new pair of batteries and new set of films for my mini instax because I want to take more photographs this year. But I’m also torn if I should buy a film camera instead.

Last year, all I have were a bunch of milk tea photos 😅 since I focused too much of my time on our small online milktea business. Then I only have several photos from our El Nido trip and a few from our Hongkong trip. I miss traveling big time!!! I have started to build my travel fund since January of last year and was supposed to go to Boracay last September. Apparently, the Bora trip was canceled due to lockdown. And as much as I’d like to book a trip this year, things still seem a little uncertain especially with the new strain of Covid. 😢 I guess, perhaps it would be another year of working from home, which I honestly don’t mind since I feel a lot safer at home. Hopefully this year, I’ll finally learn how to drive and get my driver’s license.

Been thinking of doing more sewing, though I’m obviously not a pro. Haha. Anyway, care to share some of your fave Thrift Flip videos?

I think one month na rin akong LSS to Niki’s songs. And the first song that introduced me to Niki is Lowkey.

Basically, title palang nakuha na attention ko because “lowkey” is really the best word to describe my relationship with A, especially when we were just starting out.

I will always look back to those days nung pa mysterious pa mga post ko. My friends in the office were asking me why I don’t post photos of my boyfriend, puro daw nakatalikod. Haha.

Not that I’m not proud of my boyfriend nor we were in a secret relationship. It just felt good to be with someone, without anyone else’s opinion. Yung happiness nyo, sa inyo lang and you don’t need validation from others. ♥️

Oh hey, it’s been ages... 

While I’m busy on my website re-launch, I thought of paying my tumblr blog a visit. I know for sure, I won’t be active here again and perhaps, most people are browsing blogs with their phones. 

But I still want my tumblr blog to look good when viewed on a desktop. I used to spend days tweaking a theme to fit my preference. Good thing I know some basics in HTML. Anyway, this time, I just want a clean and simple theme.

Missing Sagada.

It was raining over the past days and I can’t help but reminisce about our Sagada trip. I guess, the breeze and the rainy season will always make me remember Sagada. I’ll definitely come back to such lovely place with such lovely people. It holds a special place in my heart and it’s the perfect place to go to when life is getting toxic already here in the city. I’ll definitely be writing a more detailed blog post about our trip on my website over the weekend.

Okaayyyy. So I’ve finally made a Youtube video. Still shy, obviously, as I didn’t talk on the video. So yeah, it’s just a simple & quick vid which I haven’t shared on Facebook yet. Main reason is that 90% of me don’t want people to know about it especially my friends and fam. lol. Just wanna stay away from people teasing me ‘bout being on Youtube. So just like the old times, I simply shared it here on Tumblr because it always has been a safe place for me. Don’t know but something about sharing things with random strangers feel better than sharing it with the people you really know of. Just a few days ‘til payday and here we are—- already treating ourselves with milktea! Before I get into the drink itself, let me share a funny story:

We were actually supposed to buy from Coco and we’re even privileged to be their first customers since we waited for Veniece Mall to open, when we saw that Coco was close due to their Thanksgiving Party. Thirsty with the thought of a good milktea, we head over to Serenitea instead and tried out their Brown Sugar Taho (PHP 150, large size only).

It’s a good drink; although not the best, in my opinion, but it was still worth a try. We chose a 50% sugar level, which might explain why our drinks doesn’t have the usual “arnibal” kind of sweetness to it, unlike in the classic Taho from the neighborhood. Still, it’s good for the price.

Boyfriend throw a surprise visit at work

Just had to share this because up to this day, I’m still in awe to know that he’s clingy. ♥️ I remember when we started dating, he was telling me about the girls he used to date in the past, and based on his stories he didn’t seem to be the clingy type. He subtlety admitted that he wasn’t going full force when pursuing a girl, which kinda turned me off back then. I was afraid that he’ll be the same to me: not exerting much effort and not affectionate enough.

To my surprise, he was a complete opposite —- he’s clingy and very affectionate. I love it when he utters the words: I LOVE YOU, at the most mundane moments, and how he manages to make time for me every.single.day.

I went from yay-weekend to monday-na-naman-bukas mood real quick.

I planned on watching the newest episode of Dynasty but all I did last night was watch Youtube videos and did a very late decluttering.

Hey lovely folks of Tumblr! So my fam is planning a trip to HongKong this year and I’m having a hard time searching for a decent accommodation. We’re a really huge group — 17 to be exact, including both adults and kids. I’m thinking of a suite room that could accommodate that big of a group but so far no luck with that. If you happen to know a good hotel in HongKong, please do let me know. We’re also considering Airbnb.

None of us had ever been to HongKong so we really had no idea where to stay.

HAPPY NEW YEAR Y’ALL!!

I usually welcome the new year here on Tumblr and say one hopeful promise. That is to continue blogging and try to be active for the next 365 days. Well, not this year since I always break that promise anyway. Also, there is no point in saying that as I already left this blog almost a year ago by starting all over again on a new platform —- www.pattypavia.com.

For this year, I want to create a new list of hopeful promises. One of them is to free myself from the pressures of social media. I’d like to be able to post things without really thinking about the number of likes it will get. I’d like my instagram feed to be a platform filled with memories that are so dear to me, without having to think hard of its overall aesthetics. This may sound shallow but we gotta admit that social media affects us in some ways and it’s not a good thing to measure your value as a person based on the likes your posts are getting or on the overall aesthetics of your instagram feed.

Enough of the babbling! I just wanna wish each and everyone of u a happy new year!!! Cheers to 2019!!
