look if they wanted me not to side with alan, they shouldnโ€™t have cast first kanaphan to play him. yeah blah blah blah separate the actor from the character but sorry i wonโ€™t be doing that. the shot panned to alan in yesterdayโ€™s ep and i was struck in the chest by a bolt of lightning bc of firstโ€™s ethereal beauty. he said โ€œsorryโ€ in that sleepy little voice in todayโ€™s ep and i squealed like a school girl. he ripped off the tie and yelled into the night and i completely forgot heโ€™d just knocked the man he loves to the ground and tried to kick the ass of a struggling old man in the community. fuck the rich? yeah iโ€™d sure like to

thinking about when jamie campbell bower was cast as jace in the first (and last) mortal instruments movie and there was so much backlash because fans were like ooooo heโ€™s too bony and delicate looking and then they cast a beefier guy for the show but he was like catastrophically bad at acting and also walked in on his co-star doing a livestream and said โ€œhey fagโ€ and then had to do an apology video

i will say itโ€™s odd to me how people are acting excited over the taming of the shrew aspect of the show because like again uh. that play is about women and misogyny. not to sound pretentious but it seems like people are just excited about 10 things which is like fair but that movie is Also about women and has themes of misogyny
