A puppy? Well I had thouht about one before, but Sarah has always loved cats. And to be fair, cats like Crouton sort of make you wonder why you want a dog.

I’m still trying to get totally confident about solo space flying. I like to go to the Watchtower with Simon but I’ve also gone up with Superman once. I’ve been feeling more comfortable lately though the moon I’m not sure just yet. Soon though
TumblrFrostbite: Had you played basketball with Simon before? If you did, had he went easy on you..or did you went easy on him? ;)
You know what, I haven’t. I’d love to play some ball with him and I sure as hell wouldn’t hold back. I’m not sure how good he is though.

In High School? Oh wow. That honestly seems like ages ago honestly. Well, I would have to say it was actually someone who was trying out for my sister’s soccer team. She was being really rude and I wanted to stand up. It’s kind of silly, but my sister loves soccer. I wanted her to be happy so I stood my ground and told her to stop bullying her.

“Oh! You did?” That was a good start to trying to defuse the situation as best as she could. “I’ve lived there all my life. I only just started to get out from my home state.” And all it took was an alien ring acting as a parasite and latching onto her to try and control her life.
“It’s okay...I mean, it happens. You won’t get in trouble, will you?” Were they going to be thrown out? She didn’t even think about that.
“That’s a beautiful name. I don’t exactly have anything different to go by but Green Lantern.” Even though there was six? Maybe seven? There was a large amount.

Deep breaths. In came the air to bring in the good vibes and out went the bad air to calm her mind. In and out, in and out. Slow breaths. Everything was still so new to her and she was learning little by little how to handle everything. She had been thrust into the world where she didn’t just see monsters or odd things from a computer screen, but now stood face to face with them.
“No-I mean, I’m really sorry. I’m still getting used to everything and it was rude. God, I’m so sorry. It is mine. I really, really hope I didn’t make you uncomfortable.”

Had she lost something? She knew it was all too real. She could drop things while she was out in public like this. Sometimes she would jitter from all these people. Big crowds, big walls, big rooms...everything was just so big.
Luckily this person was here. “Oh th-” She hiccuped when she saw that the person looked more...reptilian than human. Was he a monster? No...no...no...she had to breathe. She wasn’t getting attacked. She was being given something.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to cause any problems.”

Oh thank god. She felt her shoulders hunch in relief. Her posture crippled only for it to try and establish itself again. “I was really worried some big monster was going to be coming here. Or the Red Lanterns or Black Lanterns or whatever monsters were going to show up.”
She looked around. “The League says hi too. They talk about all of you all the time.”

Jessica walked briskly after the woman. Mission achieved, though who knew what would happen if she ditched her new “friend”. She’d be happy to keep her some company.
“Okay...” she said, taking a bite. It was crisp, though perhaps not as good as the ones she had. “Mmm...” She knew she had to give some answer. “Have you ever had Portland apples? They’re the best.”

She could handle a few drinks, though nothing too big. “Does this place have any cider?” she asked sincerely as she eased herself onto the bar stool. It had a little give, having cushioned many people over its tenure here.
“So I want to know what Oa or Mogo is like. Simon hasn’t talked about it and I was curious what I’m in for.”

“I'm really sorry and I don’t think it’s stalking?” Jessica wasn’t too sure if it was. “I asked my ring where yours was.” She wouldn’t come here normally, but she needed some sort of help.

The ring was doing it again as Jessica looked over. “Oh god, English as I get ready.” She wasn’t sure where Simon was. Maybe at home or with the League, but she’d have to hope she could meet him there. If not...well she’d have to hope for the best.
Shooting up into the sky, the ring filled her in. Something was common. It might even be a Red Lantern, though she was unsure if. If Atrocitius was back, she was about to have her hands full.

“I don’t think--” Felicity began, but she was cut off. She watched as the woman snapped the apple in half and cut into it. Her heart was starting to pound. Was the vendor going to demand cash? I mean, he was losing product? Did she have enough? She needed to rummage around for something. She didn’t want to be locked up for being seen as an accomplice. Even Batman wouldn’t be able to bail her out. She didn’t even have his number.
“Maybe we should pay...” she muttered. “Okay hold on...can you break a...five?” Five was enough. Unless Gotham jacked up the priced which she prayed wasn’t a case. “Is this really necessary?”
