          “That’s so COOL! You wouldn’t expect it because you don’t look it.” She was rather blunt about it, but, she really did mean it as a compliment! There was no harm behind her voice; instead she was merely being friendly.

Rei let out a small laugh. “See, that’s what catches them off guard. They think since I’m a short feminine male that I won’t kick some ass. Well...that’s where they’re wrong.” he said, throwing a few punches in the air.

REI

              “It sounds like you didn’t! I bet you’re really strong.” Haru gave him a smile as she nodded. She was almost THANKFUL that he didn’t ask why she needed bodyguards or anything – she didn’t want to delve that deep into that with a stranger ( though, she had a feeling she wouldn’t tell him if he were a friend either ).

Rei let out a small smirk. “Heh, thanks. I can pack a good punch all on my own.” he said, feeling rather proud. The band got him and the drummer to look after them. They pretty much look after each other. 

REI.

            “Well uh … “ and there was the EMBARRASSMENT – why couldn’t she had just shut up and leave after apologizing!? “They’re kinda like body guards for me and … if they pick fights their uh … BOSS would get really angry, right?” very unconvincing.

He knew it! He knew that she was somebody important! But she does look rather embarrassed so he won’t ask what she is. “Ohhh, I see. Kinda reminds me when I had some body guards once. But Genkei didn’t like how they were treating people around us, so he had to let them go. But, it wasn’t like I needed them anyway.” Rei replied back. 

REI. 

            Head tilted a bit back, eyes no longer able to catch sight of the group. This brought a bit of relief as she turned back and nodded, a sweet smile offered to the other. “It’s nice to meet you too, Rei- san! I’m glad this didn’t turn out bad, I’d really hate to report this to their superiors again … “ 

Rei had that question in his head again. They have superiors? Now she has to be somebody important. He wasn’t the one to get into other people’s business but he couldn’t help but to be curious. “Superiors? What do you mean?”

  Malak sat causally in front of the entrance to the concert hall’s back stage as a guard, despite her casual attire not indication her profession. In her dark purple suit and floral undershirt , she didn’t look anything like a professional bodyguard so it was no wonder that some mistook her for fan sneaking in.

”show me your backstage pass.” 

Rei went out for a moment to get something from the van the band came in, he had to rush back to to get ready for the show. He went to the door he went out of before but there was already fans there. He groaned and just decided to bare with it. He walked passed screaming fans, trying to be as far away from them as possible. 

Once he face one person, asking him for a back stage pass, he honestly looked offended. Who was this? And why was she asking him for a back stage pass? He just want to get inside already. “Okay, here’s your backstage pass.” he said, then stuck up his middle finger at her. 

“R-Rei! That’s the new guard!” Genkei said loudly, through the screaming fans. Rei blinked and felt his eye twitch. 

“Can I just go inside before I get a f***ing headache?”

STRANGER.

           “ Ah … they’re pretty weak once they get going at it so I’m sure it can’t be hard to hurt them!” She snickered a bit at that, throwing a glance to the group of men that she started waving away. “Oh – ! I’m Haru, by the way. They won’t bother you again, I’ll make sure of it.”

Rei let out a soft chuckle, those were some weak ass men. So taking them down would of been easy for him then if they kept trying him before. Once he finally learned her name, he gave a small nod. “Rei. Nice to meet you, Haru. And that better be the case, I’m not gonna do anything crazy.”

♡~ “Oh, well I’d hate to further inconvenience you. I mean, you already helped me out a great deal.” If there was anything Marie hated to do, it was disturb other people with her own situations. Besides, she didn’t want to seem as though she couldn’t handle her simple job of standing around and giving people roses. ♡~ “Thanks anyway-! Oh, uh, what’s your name, by the way?” She went on.

Minoru listened and nodded his head. She was a sweet lady, kinda made him mad that anybody would try and steal from her. She’s doing such an innocent thing and all. He put his hands in his pockets and nodded again to answer her thanks. “No problem. And the name’s Minoru.”

♡ STRANGER.

            “They’re some idiots friends of mine! I’m sure they mean no harm, they’re just a little … PROTECTIVE in what they do.” She couldn’t exactly say they were Yakuza could she? Ah oh well. “I’m glad it didn’t turn messy then! Sorry again for letting them bother you.”

Rei raised an eyebrow at her comment. Those were some friends... Although they would be nice for crazy fans that are going after him. But still, it wasn’t the girl’s fault. Those goons took their job too seriously. “Ah, I see... It’s alright, I suppose. It’s probably best if they didn’t, not because I would beat them up.”

“Ah, uhm, I’m fine.” he insisted, not even noticing his scraped knee in his panic. “But!! We should get those cleaned up right away, come on.” He was already pulling this total stranger along by the hand. At least he knew where to find some stain remover. “Maybe we can save your shoes if we hurry!!”

Genkei was glad that the male was okay but he did saw the scrape on his knee. He was about to say something about it but the other already started pulling him away to his direction. “O-Oh! Um...okay...” he said, just letting him take him wherever he was taking him.

♡~ “Well, still it was really..chivalrous of you. I don’t usually see that often. So, again. Thank you. I hope you have a nice day!” Marie responded, smiling gratefully at Minoru before she looked back down at her basket and over her shoulder, knowing she had to go back to handing the roses out again.

Minoru nodded his head again as a you’re welcome. He just didn’t understand why anybody would want to steal some flowers? She was already giving them away for free already. He looked at the female when she was about to go and stepped up. “You need help with passing out roses? Might be tired of standing all day.”

♡ STRANGER.

           “Ah – !” Haru paused and sent the men ahead of her a pout ( one that said that she was rather upset with them ) before turning back to the other and bowed slightly. “I’m sorry for them. They aren’t the smartest bunch! I’m glad they didn’t cause too much trouble for you.” 

Rei glanced over at the males and glanced back at the female. He wondered who were they and who was she. Was she important or something? Whatever she is, the guys didn’t have to be rude to him though. “It’s fine. Just consider them lucky that I didn’t kick their asses. Who are they anyway?” he asked.

♡~ “Oh-! Oh goodness. Thanks so much. I really didn’t think I’d get this back.” Marie spoke up again once she made it to the man. She accepted the basket and gave a heavy sigh of relief.

♡~ “Er…Is there anything I can do to repay you?” She offered, taking a second to steal a glance at the one who took her basket of roses in the first place though.

Minoru watched as the male gave back the female’s basket and put him back down. He gestured his head to tell the male to go and he did just that. He turned back to the lady and nodded his head at her. “No problem, miss. And you don’t need to repay me, I just did what anybody would do.” he said, with a shrug.

            “Those guys didn’t bother you, did they?” Came Haru’s voice, filled with concern. A few feet away were her friends ( aka some Yakuza that she was out and about with ), watching the person and Haru exchange words; they looked ready to defend if something happened

Rei adjusted his jacket and let out a huff. He didn’t like to be pushed around, especially by some random strangers too. That just gave him more of a excuse to beat some ass and he didn’t care either. He glanced over at the female and straighten his hair. “Not really. But if they kept going, they would had and it wouldn’t be pretty.”

The moment of peace suddenly disappeared when Marie called out in surprise.

♡~ “Hey! Wait! You can’t just steal my whole basket! Get back here!” She exclaimed, trying to race after some punk who decided to swoop in and grab ALL of the flowers and her favorite woven basket from her.

Minoru blinked and then turned around when he heard that same voice again, but in a different tone. Once he saw the punk running with the flowers towards him, he waited for him to pass a bit and then grabbed him by his collar. He roughly pulled him back and being the strong guy he was, he lifted him up a bit. The drummer looked at the female and then at the crook again. 

“Give the nice lady her basket back.” he said, in a stern tone. The guy slowly handed out the basket towards her.

♡~ “You’re welcome! Have a nice day.” She responded sweetly and flashed a smile after the other accepted the rose. She picked up a fresh one from the basket beside her, ready to hand off another one to the next person she saw.

Minoru nodded his head again and continued walking away. He took the rose and smelled it. The flower had a nice scent to it, nothing too harsh. He could keep it to himself but he wasn’t too good at taking care of plants. Maybe he can give it to Genkei or something.
