“bughead x romeo & juliet” social media edit

Jughead's destiny has been preordained since before his birth: he's supposed to go to college, inherit the family media company, and find a loyal, unobjectionable girl to bear children that will carry on the family name. He can't entertain ideas of following his own path, regardless of what Veronica says.
He didn’t want to go to his surprise birthday party in the first place. And as soon as he saw the daughter of his parents' sworn enemy standing in his apartment, mingling with Veronica like they were old friends, he should have asked her to leave — that’s what his parents would have expected him to do. He knows better than to hope for the glint of vibrant green eyes and the glowing twist of a blonde ponytail under the setting California sun. And he definitely, definitely shouldn't fall in love with her.
But this is his gap year. He has twelve months to live for himself, to follow his dreams, to fit in a lifetime. Whether his parents like it or not, this is his time, and he's going to spend it with Betty Cooper.

Washington is to Betty as L.A. is to an aspiring film actor, as Nashville is to a country singer. It’s the city of her dreams.
The last thing Jughead wants is to spend his ‘gap’ year, during which he’s supposed to be trying to write his novel, travelling around making various pre-campaign stops and diplomatic visits. But: here he is. (x)

When rising photographer Jughead Jones scores a photo shoot with model-of-the-moment Betty Cooper, he expects to use it, simply, to help his career take off.
What he doesn’t expect, is to be so enraptured with her beauty.
Or for the single shoot to turn into a series of stunning portraits,
Or to witness the marks on her palms grow into burns across her skin.

jughead jones will totally be the type of dad who’ll sing disney lullaby songs to his kids. like i can totally imagine him asking arch to teach him to play the guitar so he can sing “remember me” to his daughter before he has to go on a book tour

I can’t seem to write perfect words
Or make them flow as they should.
They don’t sound particularly profound.
I can’t paint you pretty pictures. Or blend the colors like other artists do.
My watercolors don’t bleed beautifully.
But I can say I love you. In as many languages as you need me to.
I can be fluent in loving you.
