some paisley cuddle/ punk!bobby for a thing i am working on 😌🎸
I wish more people would talk more about the fact that teen girls aren’t allowed to just be teen girls. I’m not even talking about the unrealistic beauty standards and expectations of girls to be thin, hairless, wear makeup, etc. (Although that’s also a problem that needs to be addressed) I’m actually talking about how people will wait for Billie Eilish to turn 18 so they can search her up on pornhub and sexualize her body and every little thing she does. I’m talking about how Greta Thunberg recently turned 18 and how there have been dozens of men threatening sexual violence against her and talking about all the horrific things they want to do to her. I’m also talking about how Millie Bobby Brown has two websites about her. One website counts down the days till she turns 18 and the other one is where grown men (and probably teenage boys as well) talk about all the graphic sexual things they want to do to her.
This isn’t okay. A teen girl suddenly turning 18 and becoming legal doesn’t change anything at all and the fact that so many men think that waiting until she’s a legal adult is being a “good guy” is so stupid. Just because you waited for her to turn 18, doesn’t mean you’re not a pedophile. It means that you had gross pedophilic thoughts about her while she was still a minor but you waited until she was legal to act on those thoughts. This makes you a predator and no amount of “but I waited 🥺” changes that.

Preparing myself for the people with no knowledge of ancient Egypt and Greece to come along with the casting of Gal Gabot as Cleopatra (although I am pretty pissed she isn’t being portrayed by a Macedonian actress) and they’ll say “they should have casted an Egyptian woman or a black woman” Cleopatra was not black nor was she Egyptian
