Don’t ever make fun of someone who’s deeply invested in something fictional. Whether it’s a cartoon, a comic, a video game, a book series, or anything else like that. You don’t know what that thing means to them. Maybe it’s prevented them from hurting themselves, or helped them get through an illness or a bad situation. Maybe they met their only true friends through the fandom. Perhaps they simply just enjoy the thing because it’s well-written and entertaining, and they’ve spent years watching the characters grow.
Let people have emotions over something they enjoy, okay?

The definition of a forced male LI: a male character everyone assumes your MC likes or that you are in a relationship with even if you repeatedly say you do not like him (happened with Chris in The Freshman book 1)
NOT the definition of a forced male LI: a male character very important to the story (Adrian, Logan); a character who has a crush on the MC (Adam, Aubrey); a broody, sarcastic character (Jake, Beckett); a normal male LI (Elliot, Parker).
You keep using that phrase to describe every male LI that interacts with you to the point that it has lost all meaning. The next time a book makes you marry a male love interest you don’t even like you will be allowed to say it.
NOTE: Liam is NOT and was never a forced male LI because the MC is attracted to him (at least at the beginning), so don’t say that he is one.
Based on @ardentlovelace‘s post on the matter
THIS.
Also, Liam belongs with those that are very important to the story. He’s the whole reason for the story.

The fan fiction practically writes itself, y’all.
“you can’t make a lawful good character interesting and enjoyable”:
They went to the same University and ate at the same caf table in total silence for four straight years. They were best friends
They still never talk sometimes
