Allow me to apologize to everyone that’s been worried about me in my absence, I assure you I am alive and well…i’ve just been busy with life and haven’t gotten a chance to log on, and with recent events getting on here has been even more difficult so I am really sorry and I didn’t mean to make any of you worry about me.

I’ve also caught the bug but i’m all healed now, i’m working again and I might not be able to rp frequently so please forgive me. But I hope you’re all doing well and taking care of yourself!

I will try to be on when I can!

I’M STILL ALIVE

I am so sorry for making everyone worry! I haven’t really been rping as of late due to my job and with all that went on last year and this year it was just super hard. Not to mention I went some time without electricity due to bills stacking up. Covid happened, riots, etc.

It was just so so much going on in my life and around me I really didn’t mean to make you all worry please find it in your hearts to forgive me for making you worry. I’ve gotten so many messages from you guys and I am just so sorry.

I hope you’re all doing well and now that things are getting more stable and less hectic I SHOULD be on more, not as much as i’d like but i’ll be on when I can.

She knew what he was doing, the way he glanced backwards over his shoulder at her to make sure she was okay. The blonde shuffled closer in response, resting her head against his shoulder. If it wouldn’t have distracted him, she would’ve kissed his neck while they flew. “It’s totally a date. It doesn’t matter if we do it every day, it’s still time set aside just for us to be together, that makes it a date.” Just because most dates were usually held in the evening didn’t make mornings any less romantic. Any time spent with Hiccup was usually romantic in Astrid’s opinion, mostly because he had a way of making her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.

“Thanks Babe.” Taking his hand she slid from the saddle, leaning in to kiss him as she’d been wanting to all flight. Breathless and dazed by the passion of his lips she finally glanced around at the location. “Hiccup, this is beautiful!” A carpet of soft, thick grass filled the meadow, the gentle babble of a crystal clear stream filled her ears, and there was a cave in case the weather turned. Lips curved into a blithe smile at the colourful wildflowers dotted throughout the field. “It’s perfect.”

Life couldn’t get any better at that moment. She was in an idyllic location with the man she adored, and no interruptions. There would be no villagers to demand Hiccup’s attention or take up his time with trivial matters, no tonight would be just them. A squawk broke her thoughts, the Nadder eager to have the packs removed so she could play. Turning to her dragon Astrid quickly removed the bags, grinning as the Nadder ran to play in the stream. “Hiccup, this really is the perfect place. I love it.”

Hiccup smiled as Astrid kissed him, he was relieved that she liked the location after all he had brought her here thinking she might enjoy it “ I’m glad to hear that Astrid, I was hoping you would.” he admitted as he watched the blonde remove the saddle and bags from Stormfly’s back, quickly Hiccup snatched the bags from the ground while Astrid was distracted “ How about you explore the area a bit while I set everything up ?...and no I don’t need help i’m prefectly capable with setting up camp.” he quickly added as he gave the blonde a kiss on her forehead. 

Toothless had ran towards the lake to Stormfly and began playing with the Nadder running back and forth in the water before rolling around on the grass, small patches of dragon nip grew here and there.

Green eyes tracked his footsteps down the stairs, eyeing him as he came into view. He seemed rather panicked for someone who just woke up from a long nap. “You act like I don’t know how to cook for myself.” Rolling her eyes she stood, shoving his shoulder so he tripped over Toothless and landed in the chair he slept in the night before.

“While you were busy snoring, T and I made breakfast.” Nimble fingers grabbed a few ingredients, quickly whipping up another small batch of omelette mix. “T ate yours. It was getting cold.” Full pink lips slammed shut as she realised she just admitted to making breakfast for him earlier. No she did not care about him, and she certainly wasn’t going to admit to liking him to his face.

Pouring the egg mix into the pan she cooked a large omelette, she figured he’d need a larger helping in case he didn’t manage to grab lunch. Glancing at Toothless she shook her head. “And don’t even think about begging for this one. You’ve eaten two already you stuffed lizard.” Flipping the fresh omelette onto a plate she dumped the plate on Hiccup’s lap, returning to her spot by the fire to huddle under the blanket once more.

“ What? No that’s not what I meant! I’m sure you’re more then capable of cooking for yourself I just meant-” Hiccup grunted a little as he was shoved back, he felt himself trip over Toothless before landing in the chair and groaned a little before looking to Mal again as she began pulling out ingredients to make him an omelette, he was about to tell her that she didn’t have to make him anything but remained silent as she spoke.

She made breakfast for me? Why? Does she still think she has to repay me ?

“ Mal you uh....you don’t have to do anything for me, I already told you that I didn’t expect you to repay me in any way. Don’t get me wrong I do appreciate it and it’s a very nice thing you did but it’s not required.” he says as he felt the warm plate being dropped in his lap, he looked down to the food before glancing over to Mal as she walked off to huddle by the fire “....thanks Mal, it’s very nice of you.” he said to her, Toothless sat down by Hiccups legs but looked to Mal with a smirk “ Seems to me like someone cares but is pretending to be tough.”
