Benrey expresions and other stuff

My benrey’s skin greys when using his powers, his eyes and teeth also change color with the sweet voice and depending on how intense the emotions are the saturation will vary, but usually a very faint blue :7

That aside he’s kinda just Barney (appearance wise)

More Benry that nobody ever asked for

Mainly just trynna nail down a design for him- all of these are little doodles with certain dialogue / moments in mind and i thought itd be cool for his colors to change as it went on but like.. 4 of these are the battle and the other 3 are acts 1-3. Plus i was too attached to the design i ended up with in the bottom right corner so it ll just ended up looking like that but with some color mode fuckery in there as well to make him like..purpleish. Basically i meant for there to be a bigger difference but Benrey is like. Entirely comprised of colors i struggle to work with (blacks/greys, flesh tones, blues) so i was struggling

when my friends came over for my birthday we all sat in a circle on my bed and shared our favs. they all had normalish favorite characters but when it got to me and i showed benrey they shamed me. “why is it pixels” they said. “are you attracted to polygons” they said. i cant take it. theyll never get it.
