Like that’s a big deal! The whole time Goncharov has been suspicious that his friends are conspiring against him and then right at the end there’s smoking gun proof. Matteo J famously likes to leave a lot of things unanswered but like, ommitting this critical payoff just wouldn’t make sense

It’s honestly a little funny when you see a post about Goncharov and while you’re reading you feel like something is off in how they talk about it and then you realise OP has only seen the cropped Netflix version
