Poker is for dogs, Scrabble is for cats! Apparently!
My largest pet portrait commission yet, and it was super fun to work on all the little details. All four cats belong to the commissioner, as well as the dogs and fish. The Scrabble board has the names of the cats as well as other fun words sprinkled in too!
I absolutely love reading people’s tags on my pet portraits about what they’d want their own pets to be wearing. I really want to draw more pets, especially some less-conventional pets (don’t get me wrong, I love my dog and cat) because they’re so different to draw! More reptiles would be great... I almost want to try a snake... but also bunnies and birds and things like that!
Maybe later in the year I’ll have a giveaway since I know these are a bit out of many people’s reach. They take me about 10+ hours each to paint (not including the time it takes to set up the composition)!
After I have a good amount, I’ll probably make a little book of them. That would be SO CUTE.
