~Cancer Rising: When the North Node was in Leo you might have had to take a look at the ways in which you used your resources and talents to earn money or support yourself. You might have been unhappy for the last year and a half with the way that you spent your time, and over the course of that year had to learn how to hone your skills and be honest with the people around you about what you really needed and wanted, regardless of their reaction. If you are dependent on someone, you might have demanded more freedom and flexibility to make your own money and enjoy your own responsibility and freedom. As the north node moves into your first house you might get sensitive about your appearance, or the way that you are in public might come into questions. If you feel sad, care for yourself in the way a cancer would. Wash yourself, eat good foods, spend time in the home that is healthy and relaxing. Avoid the Capricornian instinct to be around people who you have to keep your emotions from or people who make you become a brick wall that insists you are okay because you want to feel in control. If you want to be a new person the people who love you will continue to love you through the shift. The people who don’t will not.

~Leo Rising: For the last year and a half you may have been channeling your own rising sign and have taken risks to express yourself in ways that the people who appreciate your authenticity supported. If you didn’t hide away in the familiar, you might have learned something about your personality. You were in a place where once in a while you needed to be selfish, and you couldn’t go to the same people for comfort. Now that you have learned so much about yourself, the north node in cancer might force you deep into your own mind. Almost like how the transition from the eighth house to the ninth house is deep psychological revelations and then the dispelling of information, to go from the 1st house to the 12th is like building the outside of a human being and then learning to build up their subconscious mind. You may feel stressed or emotional and aren’t even quite sure where those emotions are coming from. First of all, FEEL them, even if the Leo instinct is to transmute all your pain into warmth for the people around you. Be alone if you have to, be the cat that pads away to lick its wounds. Trace details as far back as you can, find connections to your childhood, meditate. Things that happen to you over the next year and a half might be intense, and even impossible to ever fully understand, but if you give yourself the motherly attention and care you deserve it might not be so terrifying. Beware of the Capricornian instinct to fill your schedule with work, or even to treat escapism like a chore or habit, when you feel emotions that you don’t understand. 

~Virgo Rising: When the North Node was in Leo you may have experienced a dissipation of your personality or a random dive into your own mind that you didn’t understand. Matters of the outside world affected you on a deep subconscious level, and some emotions may have been hard to trace back but were devastating. However, when you cultivated the Leo habits of being transparent and warm with yourself when you decided to let the spotlight shine on whatever deep wounds were starting to bleed out into other areas of your life, you felt a shift in the person you were. Old habits, old ailments, and even the way it felt to just live has disappeared, and 18 years of psychology built up and was torn down again. With a new understanding of yourself, with whatever blank slate you are starting on, find the soul family that welcomes the new you. The North node might give you confusing feelings based on who you’re spending your time around, so just know that you are receiving information with the sensitivity of a cancer. After the emotionally raw year and a half you just had, you should know by now to trust when someone is using you and when they mean well. Find your clan, and in that way watch yourself grow. Beware of the Capricornian instinct to take a serious and rigid approach to the way you have fun or the way you express yourself. When you let cancer help you feel out your journey, the people you deserve to be with will sniff you out with displays of their own. 

~Libra Rising: As a Libra rising your ability to make friends and please the people around you is high, and if you’re a well-developed libra rising many people find you a joy. For the last year and a half emotions came up about those same people who love to have you around. Good or bad, you have been developing the ability to speak your real mind to the people around you regardless of what they might be discomforted with, which is difficult for a Libra rising. You may have been in situations that made you uncomfortable, or you were trying to show the people around you a side that they haven’t been acquainted with before. Now that the north node is moving into your tenth house, some related feelings might come up. How do you bring the best version of you to the table and into the public eye? What tasks can you put yourself to bring you the satisfaction of having expressed yourself? Avoid the instinct to keep yourself at home, away from the public eye and devoted to family matters. If you have not navigated the last year and a half well then you have wounds to tend to which cancer can mother by giving you Capricornian resources, like work, purpose, and dedication. Have another shot at showing the people who you are. 

~Scorpio Rising: Your sights and priorities might have been on your career for the past year and a half, including the work you put out for people to enjoy and the way that you appear to the outside world. My boyfriend is a Scorpio rising and has adjusted the way he sees his future by cleaning up his social media and creating music the way he dreamt of doing. If you acted according to what you wanted and not what others expected out of your career, then fantastic. Now the next challenge is to expand the horizons that you carved into the canvas of your life. Consider further education in a field you enjoy or self-teaching a skill that aligns with the things you’ve been working on for the last couple of years. Travel opportunities will be fruitful now in ways that you might not have expected, and opportunities will come up but might not always present themselves as life-changing. Be sure that openings and experiences have not gone over your head. Avoid the Capricornian habit of analyzing everything with a rigid and stern mind and not enjoying the flexibility and emotional sense of wonder that cancer encourages from experiences of the 9th house.

~Sagittarius Rising: If you managed successfully to take the north nodes advice and work with the qualities of the 9th house, you are now exiting a phase with knowledge you didn’t have before, and possibly in a different place than where you were when the north node first moved into leo. Now that you have accrued a range of knowledge and expansion, the north node is moving into cancer, where you now might have to slow down and take a deep look at your inner self. The 8th house, in the souls journey, is the check in point where understanding of the self, deep emotions and experiences change who you are. You might also receive inheritance, or could evaluate a relationship to death. It might be hard at times, but try not to bog yourself down with work and material splendor. Earthly comforts are nice, but destiny is calling you to look inward.

Capricorn Rising: The north node in the sign opposing your 1st house might be rough, because it means that your fate revolves around matters of that house, which instinctually you might feel disconnected with. The north node is exiting your 8th house, which for the past year and a half has been revealing things about yourself to you, if you were able to acknowledge and accept it. The time for depth is finally over, but even if you don’t think you’ve learned a lot, try and communicate what you’ve been through with the people you love. Your one-on-one relationships are under the spotlight with the cancer north node, and you may feel attached or uncomfortable about people depending on the emotions this placement stirs in you. Rather than hiding away after the things you’ve learned, use it to connect much more deeply to the people around you. Opportunities come with your relationships that you can’t expect right now, and those things will transpire for another year and a half. You might be inclined to work on your self expression, or change who you are because of the things you’ve learned. That’s nice and well, but in this raw time cancer urges you to create a home with people who love you and can surround you with the balms needed to soothe any wounds.

~Aquarius rising: Leo rules your seventh house, so that is where expansion takes place, in your relationships. Now that the people you love have done you a service you can focus on matters of the sixth house, which includes giving back to those same people. Good opportunities will arrive when you put to use the things you’ve learned in order to help others. You can also use your talents in the workspace. Also, if you take good care of your health you are fulfilling those 6th house needs. Try not to get too wrapped up in escapism. The north node might tip the scales so that you find yourself a little busy, but if you put your best food forward and arrive to the situation with your talents in hand you’ll squash whatever comes your way.

~Pisces Rising: The last year and a half you might have found your life moving forward when you were doing work, or you found opportunities in the areas of your own health and your talents. You may have done a service to people who rewarded your generosity, or had a chance to be generous and didn’t take it. Either way, now that you’ve given the world your talents, revisit them and try to hone your crafts. When you express yourself openly and joyously you find a family of creative people to laugh and love with you. Create your cancer home amongst the people who feel the most comfortable being playful with you, and find a home as well in any creative skills you have. Resist the urge to let yourself melt into the groups you spend your time with, unable or unwilling to share your 100% true self. Try to be lighthearted.

~Aries Rising: The north node in cancer is located in your fourth house, which calls you home to your soul. You may reconnect with your family, your childhood home or the mindsets you grew up in. It is a good time to use the creative outlets you should have learned from when the north node was in Leo, in your fifth house of creativity and play. Where you will find the most expansion is in the familiar and comfortable. Try not to let your forward moving rising sign take you through a twist of career turns or projects involving your public persona. That might be the impulse, but it is a better idea for you to let fate step in and reconnect you with yourself.

~Taurus Rising: You have likely spent a lot your time in the last year and a half either on your own at home and reminiscing on the familiar or seeking out opportunities outside of the home. You may have learned how to stand your ground and defend your identity in the family setting, or even to your mother. Think about the things you learned in the past year and a half, because now cancer in the north node will have you connecting to the people all around you. You might find that you get opportunities that allow you to use your analytical topic, and a range of new information will find it’s way to you through familiar means. Even the way in which you analyze and view the world will change. This is a good time to spend rummaging around your own heading and giving your brain food for thought. Instead of approaching your new information in the rigid way of a capricorn, try to embody a cancer as best as you can. Make your brain a safe and comfortable place to rummage, and be willing to switch your logic up according to what suddenly feels right to you or doesn’t anymore.

~Gemini Rising: The north node in Leo was in the third house, which means that you were more than able to handle the gemini task of rummaging over new and interesting information in your mind. Your expansion came when you absorbed new information from the world immediately surrounding you, and now that the north node is in your second house, you can make your surroundings as comfortable as your brain. In the backwards path the nodes make you are actually nearing the end of a long and interesting journey that all in all takes about 18 years. Now that you are nearing the end of this journey you can prepare yourself by surrounding yourself with the things you love and have learned. Use your talents to get the money to shape the material world as it best serves you. Indulge to some degree, as long as the cancer heart is being listened to. Avoid the instinct to retract back into your mind in stressful moments, or on relying for anyone else to provide you with resources.
