this one is pretty clever
basically
- you get DMed by a hacked member of your friends list
- they say someone with the same username and avatar as you sent someone inappropriate pictures
- they invite you to join a server to see the accusations and defend yourself
- they say that they cannot risk having a creep on their friends list until you defend yourself
- they block you so you feel pressured to join the server to defend yourself
- if you join the server it tries to get you to scan the QR code to log in, which hands over complete access to your account
never scan QR codes on discord. do not join these servers. do not put the rest of your friends list in danger.
