I'm doing well! I've had a really good summer and I've gotten nothing but nice asks! You guys are very sweet and I'm happy you respect my choices with putting this blog on a (very likely permanent) hiatus. I might end up doing another ask blog for the other fandom I'm into right now, we'll have to see,,,but thank you for the sweet ask anon 💕

Icon change! The old icon was bothering me, so I made a new one! It's much cuter ^^
So earlier today a (very sweet) anon asked me if I had ever wrote any fanfiction. That ask was eaten by Tumblr so I’m just gonna answer it like this, sorry. So, I’ve written lots of different stuff over the years for both tg and other fandoms, but I’ve never posted it. I usually only share my writing with my friends,,,,but would you guys want me to start posting my hidekane drabbles here sometimes? Maybe give me prompts? I’m always open to suggestions and ways to expand my blog, and this sounds like a lot of fun! Please let me know what you think guys!
Kaneki: I don’t see why it’s suddenly so appealing now…
Hide: Because now you’re my boyfriend, and it’s technically boyfriend shirt.
Kaneki: Boyfriend shirt…?
Hide: Doesn’t matter the hair colour, Kaneki is still Kaneki. And I love Kaneki unconditionally. Plus…Shiro is pretty hot.
Kaneki: Hide-!
Kaneki: Hide, you lived in a tiny one-story house. The most you would of done was maybe sprain an ankle.
Hide: I was trying to impress you, okay? In the only way my twelve year old self knew how. And then it backfired horribly.
(based on a true story between me and my brother, though with very different circumstances)
Hide: You could never pull off “papa”. You’re too proper. You fit the basic “dad” much more.
Kaneki: …Should I take offense to that?
Hide: And for specifics…I would probably want a daughter. And I would let Kaneki pick her name. He’s better at that stuff than me, haha.
(I actually got a lot of parent asks, and it makes me super happy because I love parent AUs! Keep em comin’!)

So in between answering asks I decided to draw some eye headcanons! Here are what I think Kaneki and Hide’s eyes look like! (spoiler: I think they look beautiful)
Kaneki: I think it was when we were maybe fourteen, and Hide dared me ¥1,500 to kiss him…thinking I wouldn’t do it.
Hide: I didn’t even have ¥1,500, actually…
Kaneki: I get cold easily and Hide is basically a human heater, so it’s nice…and it’s calming to hear him breathe, if that’s not weird…
Hide: Kaneki is like a little teddy bear, I love snuggling him to my chest! He’s the best human blanket you could ask for!
Kaneki: I guess I would do what Hide did for me…love him unconditionally.
