if you like it feel free to ignore this but is there any chance you could remove that greenish blue wiggly thing from your desktop theme? it makes it impossible to look through your art, especially when you put art in text posts and the wiggly thing goes right over it.

what size canvas do you usually use?
normally start at 4000x3000 pixels 72 dpi (i will not print imgs) (i am constantly running out of file storage space) thats enough area to get a couple scribbles going + fit reference/insp pics in there then crop or expand canvas as required. posted pictures once cropped down often end up between 500 to 2000 px wide these days. oh yeah and im using RBG 8 bit colour. 16 bits is TOO MANY!!!!!
