Comic is on hiatus until further notice!

Sorry for the lack of updates- honestly I haven’t actually properly drawn something for literal months. I’m gonna take a break from my comic until further notice so I don’t feel bad doing art not related to it- will my comic continue in the future?? I hope so, but if not, no pressure, as that’s sorta the whole point of my AU, y’know?

Either way, I do hope to go in depth about the story sometime if I do decide the comic is too much to continue when I get back in the swing of things :) Still love my AU and characters!

Seriously thank ya’ll so much!! This account is surprisingly bigger than my main tumblr account- even if that account still gets tons more notes and stuff overall (which is fair since it is a fanart account). I appreciate those of you who have shown interest in my comic!! Especially the commenters or people who interact with the posts in general. You’re the reason this comic is still going, lol (especially after losing a huge chunk of my audience from deviantart Eclipse, cough).

Now here’s a small personal update if anyone was curious-

So, pages are slow right now- I know. I’m still working on page 100 and some owed art at the moment. Currently my jewelry making hobby has been taking up a lot of my time since I’ve lost motivation to do art, and honestly it’s a tad upsetting to me how little motivation I’ve had for art recently considering how much time I’ve put into it. I’m not quitting, obviously, I just have a feeling art might be slow for quite awhile?? Not sure honestly. Senior year is quite chaotic and so is preparing to move for college (when you really aren’t ready yet alone prepared to be an adult), along with setting up a business, but at the end of the day I still do love my comic and giving up on it would be giving up on a part of myself I promised I wouldn’t from the beginning.

Which I guess me struggling for motivation with my universe is quite ironic to it all since that’s sort of the story of it. What does happen when stories are abandoned? What if these stories were actually playing out somewhere? Hm. Interesting things to ponder, but enough rambling. Thank you for 200+ followers, and cheers to an approaching 100th page!

AAAA FINALLY!! I’m so sorry how long this took!! D:

I got super deep into my jewelry making hobby I guess and stopped art for a bit. Though since people actually care about this comic a bit I had to get a page done- motivation, y’know? I don’t plan on dropping this comic since it’s like,, my passion project- it’s just on the back burner currently.

I got accepted to my dream college which is also pretty epic! Gonna officially be an entomologist :} thank you to anyone who interacts with my posts- YOU are the reason this comic is even still here, honestly. Thank you!!

Hey, just wanted to say I’m sorry it’s taking so long for me to update!!
I’m not quitting my comic or anything- I’ve just been busy with school and starting up my own business/diving deeper into my interest in entomology ^^ insects take up a lot of my time nowadays haha. Don’t worry though- still love my comic and still have so many plans for it!! This comic has its roots way too deep into me for me to “lose interest” or anything like that.
It’s just difficult to draw pages sometimes- I’m really pushing my skills with these pages and going out of my comfort zone- so that results in longer draw times, but also pages I’m so much more proud of. My motivation has been focused on producing jewelry- but usually it levels out eventually ^^

I just read everything on the @motivatedtale-blog and holy crap is this AU underrated. I couldn’t resist drawing motive and unmotivated, the designs are so pretty. the art is absolutely beautiful and the art style is so pleasing to the eye.
