I attempted to do a small science experiment, but the video cuts off when Mabel comes into the room screaming “DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR” and shoots a glitter cannon at both me and my experiment, and then Waddles comes streaking into the frame and capsizes the entire table.

He was only four years old when I left, so he wasn’t quite a full-fledged person yet, but... he was curious. Adventurous. Sometimes so much so that it gave his mother and I a heart attack.
And his mother was-- god. She was incredible. The wisest, most compassionate woman I’ve ever known. Sometimes I miss her so badly I can’t breathe.

He is safe, yes. He’s with his mother.
He’d be in his 20′s by now. He’s a man now, and I missed everything for the sake of saving the multiverse. He’s alive because of me, but sometimes I still regret leaving.

I don’t have to think in hypotheticals. I know for a fact that my polydactyly is a dominant trait that is passed down genetically.
