小雨 by Georg N
Statue of Neptune, Melenara Beach
In my heart, there is a thunder.
I hear it in the quiet of midnight.
“Who are you?” it whispers.
And all I can say is, “I am me.
“In my tears, there is power, so I will not waste them.
“In my voice, I can bring down the sky; I will not be silenced.
“In the night, I welcome the storm and await the dawn.”
In my heart, the thunder grows.
