Evan did what he want for the most part, so they didn’t question when he turned into his female form out of nowhere, and didn’t really ask questions when she refused to tell them her name. But that didn’t mean Gilbert wouldn’t try to guess it like a game of Rumplestiltskin.

Emma to be honest had no idea why this was happening to her, or why a very familiar sensation began to form in her stomach when Gilbert began to get closer to her name, face flushed as the poor girl looked a bit weak in the knees. Jose and Alfred knew very well the look on her face from prior instances, the girl whining a bit as she sat at the dining room table, face buried in her arms as she breathed a bit raggedly before Gilbert slipped out finally her name. Emma. The girl seemed to lock up at the table, legs trembling as she hid her face, letting out a mixture of a subdues whine and grunt, manicured nails digging into the cherry oak table for a moment before she let out a huff, panting heavily as she pressed her shaking legs together. “Gil… p-please stop talking.” She asked pathetically. He hit the nail on the head at the worst time ever.

Jose went to go help her up, “she has a curse placed on her. You can’t say her name or this happens.”

Rebecca blinked in surprise before nodding. “Oh, alright. My bad, she didnt really tell me that. But uh, I have all of Shauns stuff here. He just went to go and get something at the store so he will be back a little later.” She claimed as Emma stood a bit shaky, face flushed, skin hot and eyes a bit teary. Rebecca decided to take it upon herself to take the bags upstairs as an apology, whilst Emma gathered herself to try and maintain some dignity and not give into the sensations. She gave a quiet thanks to Jose, obviously concentrating hard on keeping herself together since they had company.

He had her sit for a little while to try to relax, “it’s okay.” He said softly, “take some deep breaths, yeah? It’ll be okay.”

Emma nodded, legs trembling a little as she gathered herself. She was getting a little exhausted. “T-thank you Jose.” She murmured softly, voice cracking a bit as she spoke.

He pet her hair, letting her recover some, “I’ll have alfred show Shaun where he’ll be staying. You can just try to relax.”

She gave another nod, nuzzling into his hand for a moment before she stood a bit wobbly. “I… Im going to lay down for a bit.”

Sure.” He agreed, “let me know if you need anything okay?”

Emma agreed, going to the bedroom and laying down once she granged out of her pants into pajamas for the moment and after cleaning up for a second time. Eventually Shaun showed up as well, though he didnt have much to say, carrying a backpack on his back and seemingly mute as earlier, though it was possible he did talk and just didnt want to.

Alfred cleared his throat a little bit, “uh, hi Shaun.” He tried to be friendly, “it’s nice to meet you.”

“… Hello.” The one word alone was like a mini shockwave, his voice a heavy baritone that seemed to resonate off the walls for a moment yet still come out smooth like honey. The man seemed virtually flawlwss in any physical way but his emotional standing seemed to lack critical standpoints. If anything, Alfred didnt have much to be jealous about besides looks, though Evan has told him time and time again he loves him no matter how he looks. Especially since past incidents where Alfred had gotten depressed and needed to be reminded.

Alfred was a little shocked at how his voice turned out sounding, the rest of the men at the table staring at him with their mouths slightly opened. He didn’t have much in the emotional area for sure, but damn was he hot. Alfred cleared his throat, “do you.. want me to show you to your room..?”

He looked at the others silently before down at Alfred and nodding. For a moment he looked a bit embarrassed, but it easily could have been a trick of the light, his face once again stoic and emotionless. “It is appreciated.” He uttered in a more softer tone.

He motioned Shaun to follow, knowingbit was better he didn’t look and see what kind of face Jose was making, “let’s go.”

He followed, waiting for Alfred to enter the room before closing it behind them. “I can understand you may not like me being here, and its not hard to figure out.” He uttered softly. He was incredibly soft spoken by the looks of it. “Im sorry if me being here makes you uncomfortable, but understand I dont want to cause trouble. I just need help, b-because… full moons scare me. So again, I apologize for bringing out the worst in people, but just know my only intention is to get help. You don’t have to like me.”

He looked a little surprised at how much he was talking to him at once, Alfred rubbing his head, “sure, yeah.” He said, “don’t worry about any of that stuff. You don’t have to take it seriously, it’s just some dumb stuff.”

Shaun was quiet again before he opened the door. “Thank you… I’ll leave you be now.”

He nodded, walking past him and out the door, “rest up.” And he closed the door behind him

Shaun was up in his room the rest of the night, Emma however getting up once again later on to see if Rune had come home yet, trying not to be loud incase everyone had gone to sleep. Ollin was already asleep in his room, the room frigid from an air conditioner that was installed after a few summers of him sleeping right below the air conditioner on the other side of the house.

Rune showed up not too long after they finished their original phone call, yawning slightly before heading up to their room quietly to get some home work done before they went to bed

Evan did what he want for the most part, so they didn’t question when he turned into his female form out of nowhere, and didn’t really ask questions when she refused to tell them her name. But that didn’t mean Gilbert wouldn’t try to guess it like a game of Rumplestiltskin.

Alfred narrowed his eyes a little at Emma, “how do you know he’s got all that?”

Ive had to go looking for him before and store him in the barn. Turns out human clothes dont hold their shape when you turn into a 390 lb werewolf.“ She stated simply. “But no, if you’re asking if I’ve had sexual encounters with him, I haven’t. Hes… strange. I cant really place it, he even elluded me then. Also he isnt my type. Im not into the weirdly quiet demeanor and standing in the dark waiting for someone to come home.”

Yeah she’s into the big bumbling dumbasses like you.” Jose told alfred, who pouted again, “hey, that isn’t nice..” but valid

“Yeah, and the previously cold hearted now soap opera watching unemployed such as yourself.” Emma grinned, giving them both a kiss. “But I love you both equally so dont worry. I got more than enough love.”

I wasn’t cold hearted!” Jose laughed, “you guys are mean.”

She grinned at that. “Yeah, neither of you are any of those things. You’re all special to me in one way or another.” She claimed sweetly.

They looked glad, Alfred feeling better about things already

Emma smiled at that, gently petting Alfred’s hair as a way to try and calm his anxieties. She just was happy Allen wasnt here to annoy him.

Allen always knew how to push his buttons, and Alfred really didn’t want to fight.

Emma soon decided to head back to the bedroom to avoid anymore problems, knowing with her curse the smallest slip up would cause uncomfortable changes in atmosphere. She was slowly adjusting to her temporary form.

The group went on about their day as normal, Prussia and Alfred hogging the tv with their video games, while Jose and Ludwig read for a while

Emma eventually made dinner, and as aleays offered to let the two brothers spend the night if they wanted. She knew they were usually busy but also thought that a night with the ones they loved would be nice for them. Even if it meant she was alone for the night, she wanted the others to be happy and free

Ludwig looked at her, “are you sure? We wouldn’t want to intrude.”

“No way, theres no such thing. Besides, its not very often we get to see you both. Im sure the others can agree the idea of seeing you both more would be nice.” She grinned sweetly at the blond. “Id also like to maybe get to know you both a bit more at some point, when you’re both open to it of course.

They agreed, seeming to enjoy the idea of getting to know her a little more too, especially with the whole one sided rivalry Ludwig and evan seemed to have before

Emma was of course always going to be sorry for that, but was all the more hesitsnt to open up her past to Ludwig just yet. She was sure he figured there were reasons for her paranoia, and just was too nice to ask. For now though, she would sit in the sidelines while the others spent time with the two that they grew attached to.

Alfred admittedly was still a little angry with Ludwig after the whole thing that went down between them before. He didn’t know how Ludwig could break things off with Jose after someone else came along, and then crawl back to him after he’s been dumped. But then again, he couldn’t talk. Alfred had almost married Jose’s brother.

Emma didn’t really want to think about any of those things, knowing after so many years of stressing the two out, especially Jose, it was better to not ask about the past, and accept the present. From there she began to go to the kitchen, set up the table, and finish up dinner for them all right as Ollin got back from his lacrosse practice, a little roughed up and dirty, still in his uniform as well.

The men greeted him, asking him how his day had gone.

Ollin didnt mind, giving a general update on life in school like how he became the main player of the team, and how he got asked out six times today by some girls who he knew were pretty active around the school. Since childhood he had taken all three of his parents personalities and developed his own. Unlike as a child when Ollin was hyperactive and emotional, he now was pretty calm, active in lacrosse, soccer and basketball to accommodate for his incredibly active body. He still was incredibly protective of Rune and of course and he managed to maintain a pretty fit body, though it mainly consisted of how much he ate, which was still a lot.

“I don’t get how people sometimes are so insistent to get with the guys and girls of athletics teams.” That earned a small chuckle in the background from Emma who was drying her hands on a paper towel.

“Ollin, trust me when I say most of the time, its because you have the main three categories any person attracted to athletes would have. Body, Stamina, and most importantly, a future.” She claimed.

“Ugh. How shallow.”

Jose laughed, “that’s life for you, buddy.” He told him, “people like to think of number one, and number one is usually themselves.”

Ollin scowled at that before he remembered something. “Oh yeah, theres a girl that was new to the school I had to show around today. She was… strange to say the least. Her accent was really strange, says she was home schooled by her parents. Said shes Scottish and raised in New York.” He claimed, Emma’s movement faultered for a moment before she set plates down at the table, humming. “She asked about Ivan and Faith, but shes not anyone we’ve met. Should I be worried?”

“Ollin. You’re always worried. Now come on, go shower, you’re all sweaty from practice. And where is Rune, its getting a bit late.” Ollin shrugged at that, spinning his lacrosse stick until Emma took a hold of it. “Not in the house Ollin.”

“Ah, sorry. Dont wanna break the fine china.”

Alfred blinked a little at that too, thinking about it for a second. It sounded familiar..

Ollin soon went to go shower, washing off the day of sports and school. Emma soon stated food was ready as well, thankful that no one had really said her name or any nicknames after the first incident. She was starting to finally cool down.

They went in to get ready to eat, the four seeming to be very hungry and prepared to stuff their faces

Emma in the meantime began to call Rune in the other room to see if they were okay, worried since its been quite some time.

Rune usually had some trouble picking up their phone whenever anyone tried to call them, they weren’t that good at checking or keeping track of their calls

Emma kept trying to call, standing outside on the porch as she tried hard to keep it together. Ollin in the meantime seeing Emma looking a bit distressed came outside with her whilst the others stayed in the kitchen. “If they dont pick up in the next few calls I’ll take the car and go looking for them.”

“Ollin-”

“Its okay, breathe. Just keep it together.” Emma of course was worried about it, and thought about contacting someone they knew that worked for the police. But she knew it would have to be a 24 hour wait at least for them to start a search party. She began to call Rune again.

After the tenth call rune finally picked up the phone, seeming to sound like they didn’t realize Emma had called them so many times

Emma was in relief, letting out an audible sigh as she asked Rune where they were and that dinner was ready, leaving out the part where they made her worried sick till she got home.

I’ll be home soon.” Rune didn’t seem very fased by the feminine voice, “I just have to drop off this paper and I’ll be on my way

“Please be safe, its getting very dark out. If you need to Ollin is willing to come and get you, just please keep an eye on your phone, and turn on the ringtone. I had to call you at least ten times.”

Rune sounded sheepish, “okay, I’m sorry. I’ll make sure to keep a closer eye on it. Don’t worry, I’ll be home soon.”

“Thank you honey. I love you.” She said softly, seeming both relieved and slightly exhausted. Once Rune hung up she huffed and looked to Ollin.

“I dont know who worries me more in life. Your auntie Lion from her teen years or Rune.” Ollin opened the door to the house, laughing as he stepped inside.

Alfred seemed to be in a better mood after talking with the other three men, looking to be back to his normal dorky self.
