Note: I know little about fitness lol so sorry if I write inaccurate things! Also, the smut chapter is optional to read, so you don't have to if you don't feel comfortable with that. Oh and as always, barely edited :x

Working out wasn't your favorite thing to do, but since a new fitness center near your apartment building had opened, and you had promised yourself you’d get a bit fitter, you decided that this was the moment to start.

To your luck, the fitness center was one of those ‘24 hour open’ ones, so you took off at 11 in the evening and hoped you’d get back around midnight.

The place was pretty much empty, apart from three other people and some staff. You had placed your belongings in a locker and looked around, wondering what you could do. You opted for the treadmill, put in your earbuds and played some up-tempo music to keep you motivated.

Looking in the wall-length mirror as you walked by it on your way to the exit, you chuckled at the sight of your slightly red face and messed up hair. At least it looked like you did you best!

Nearing the exit door, you noticed that the man who had just entered was holding it for you.

“Thank you!” You smiled at him, placing your hand against the door to take over from him.

He nodded and smiled back. “Anytime!”

As you looked at him, you saw a slight frown on his face. Simultaneously, you raised your eyebrows as something clicked.

You let go of the door, letting it close as you still stood inside of the fitness center.

“Ah, you're the guy who just moved in in Lavender Hill, right?” You asked, plopping your bag next to your feet on the ground.

You had seen him around a few times; he lived a few doors down. You had only greeted him once or twice, but never had an actual conversation. You only knew what your gossipy neighbor had told you; that he moved here because of his new job and that he apparently seemed to work at evenings a lot and had an irregular schedule.

The guy’s frown disappeared and he gave you a wide smile as he ran his hand through his hair. “That's right! That's where I know you from!”

You held out your hand to him and introduced yourself.

He was really handsome; raven black hair, slightly messy; cute and kind-looking eyes; a confident and sincere smile.

“I’m Hongseok, it’s nice to finally meet you.” He replied, shaking your hand. “So, is it your first time coming here? I haven't really seen you around.”

You nodded, “yeah it is. What about you? I believe this place opened right around the time you moved here?”

He chuckled, “that is correct. I moved, because I work here. The gym I used to work at had to close down, but since the owner is friends with this place’s owner; he was able to secure a job for me here.”

“Ah, that's not that bad.” You said. “Then I shouldn't keep you from your work! We’ll meet again, I’m sure of that!”

“Wait.” He quickly said, as you opened the door again. He unzipped his bag and rummaged through it, then taking out a small something and handed it to you. “Here’s my card, with my number on it. In case you ever need a personal trainer, or a friend!”

Finally. My heart is content. 😌😌😌

non-universe really need to be quiet when it comes to pentagon. I’m more than aware that the nature of road to kingdom will bring up fanwars as much as people are like “oh no… we should stick together” lmao? fuck that? It won’t happen. other people simply can’t keep their trap shut, and for a while it didn’t really bother me whether or not people thought pentagon was faking or acting on their spring shine stage… but watching their 10 minutes backstage clip JUST now, I can wholeheartedly say that some of you guys lack empathy. kino and hui were already starting to buckle as jinho was saying their group cheer in the waiting room. to think how hard it must’ve been for them to hold it together and get through the first couple minutes of shine as gleefully as they could makes me think of how they had to do exactly that for naughty boy. I can’t help but cry for pentagon in times like this because they’ve struggled immensely hard during these couple years and people still reduce them to hyundawn’s scandal and everything that occurred during 2018. for once, just once I wish people could see the authenticity between pentagon members and love them fully without needing to tag along that they feel bad for them, or that they deserve more, or that they used to be a fan. even if it’s not with bad intentions, it hurts universe to see their past brought up over and over and over again as if they haven’t moved on since then. I love pentagon so much, more than I can express and before you write anything about them I pray you’ll put some thought into your phrasing. not all emotions transfer to writing clearly, I know that but I always ask for people to never speak of pentagon carelessly because for a while that’s all people have ever done. please don’t do that anymore. I’m begging you.

kino really really loves day6′s the book of us: zombie. he said on kising booth that he loves every single song and goes on to say how day and night is so good, the title track zombie without saying is great, leave me or love me and afraid are also so great alongside their english version of zombie. he says that the album in entirety is in his playlist. even last week, he played zombie right when it came out and he was thinking whether or not he should play another day6 song on kising booth this week. however, because he listened to it so often he decided played love me or leave me. while it plays he sings along to all the lyrics. day6 and pentagon crumbs…….. I love to eat them
