My art for @viktuuriangstbang based on @kingfisherunion’s fan fiction Pleurosis.

Summary: Viktor doesn’t take Yuuri up in his offer at the Sochi banquet, but someone else does. Depersonalized, depressed, and doubting that he’ll make it through another season of marketing himself to an uncaring public, Viktor finds himself ill at Worlds, and nothing he does seems to help. When Yakov takes on a new skater, Viktor’s health takes a turn for the worse, and he’s suddenly faced with a dire choice.

Body of Evidence, chapter 6

Title: Body of Evidence Writer: @revampired Artist: @unicornsovermyrainbow Rating: Explicit (for gore and mild sexual content) Archive Warnings: Graphic Depiction of Violence Tags: Jack the Ripper AU, Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics, Omega Katsuki Yuuri/Omega Victor Nikiforov, Gore, Graphic Depiction of Corpses, Medical-Related Blood and Gore, Period-Typical Sexism (omega-ism?), Serial Killers, Peril, Hurt/Comfort, Angst and Hurt/Comfort, Whump, ANGST WITH A HAPPY ENDING(!!!!!!) Preview:

Yuuri watches the sun set from the window in his room, lying listlessly on his bed. He feels so low energy, like even the effort of moving his body from the creaky mattress would be too much for him. Any other Friday, he’d be well on his way to Victor’s apartment, to stay over for dinner and maybe go out for drinks, but not tonight.

Not tonight.

He takes a deep, shuddering breath. He hasn’t moved for hours, the weight of everything that’s happened pressing down on him like stones over his chest.

over the oaks: chapter 5

Oh god, the last chapter for my @viktuuriangstbang is up?!?!?!? I’ve enjoyed writing this so so so much, and I really hope that people have enjoyed reading it.

With nothing more to say:

Summary:

Books have always called Yuuri, ever since he was a child. So when he gets the chance to answer the call, he does, even if it implies crossing the milky way in a tiny spaceship with Victor Nikiforov —the man Yuuri has been pining after since they met— by his side.

But a spaceship is not only a vehicle, it can be a prison too (especially if the thing you’re running away from is trapped inside it as well)

Excerpt:

When Yuuri was a child, he dreamt of weeping angels. It was just a bad dream, a nightmare that haunted him for weeks until the thought of the winged figure drifted away from his mind and the cold touch of the statue was replaced by Hiroko’s warm arms.

He had always told his parents that he didn’t remember what the dream was about, that he only recalled the stalking shadow of the creature and its wings looming his tiny body, over his horrified eyes. But that wasn’t true. He remembered every single detail, every single colour and, especially, every single second he thought he was going to die.

He was just scared that if he said it out loud it would get real. But, wasn’t it going to get real anyway?

Read the last chapter here (and hug me, I’m emotional):

Genie In The Bottle

Things are going well for Yuuri Katsuki. He’s living in Paris, working as a field epidemiologist for the Pasteur Institute, and he’s engaged to Viktor Nikiforov, the most amazing man in the world and the love of his life.

But danger looms on the horizon, as it always does for someone in his line of work. When people start getting sick, Yuuri must race to find out what has been set loose… and if there’s any way of stopping it.

“For when you really, really miss me.”
That was cruel. Viktor missed him so much it hurt like a shock to the heart every time he thought too hard about it. Did he really miss him? More than anything. Yuuri never believed in life after death, had told Viktor so, but Viktor hoped that Yuuri was wrong.

Drawn for the @viktuuriangstbang!!! For leedelee’s lovely story “For When You Really, Really Miss Me”. Y’all should check it out, it’s a wonderful angst fest!

Here my work for the @viktuuriangstbang, which goes for Nidea ( @theliteraryluggage )’s fic embedded in my chest (and it hurts to hold).

Fic rated M, Alternative Universe - Art and Music, Hanahaki, Happy End, 11/14 chapters (story complete).

I waited until after chapter 6 was updated to post everything together [BUT I FORGOT TO CLICK POST]. This because, even if the description of the paiting was in the prologue, I tried to show from a more far view how Yuuri felt, and that needed the whole context of the chapter. For the prologue one (second picture) I wanted to try to capture that he didn’t felt, was disconnected- the focus he had was too much to really notice what happened; then in the second one (first picture) just beginning to link with the reality of what he made.

This drawing on Twitter, and the fic on Ao3. Want to support my art? Ko-hi ko-fi cohín | Patreon | Commissions.

Summary: Every since Hikari Katsuki stepped on the ice for the first time, she discovered a passion like no other for figure skating, wanting to become one herself despite her father's prohibitions. On the day of the Obon, the Japanese festival to honor the spirits of the ancestors and celebrate their visit to the World of the Living, she'll have to embark on a journey without precedent to the Land of the Dead, uncover the secrets that shattered her little family and find the real reason why her father never let her go near a skating rink, helping him get over his own fears and traumas that kept him from the promise he made a few years ago to the man he never stopped loving, but once betrayed unwittingly.

over the oaks: chapter 2

Aaaand, my second chapter for @viktuuriangstbang is up!!

Summary: Books have always called Yuuri, ever since he was a child.

Excerpt from chapter 2:

Time in space, Yuuri thinks as he wakes up and all the lights are still off, is weird. In the spaceship, there’s a digital clock in every room pointing out what time it is in Detroit, and the lights all around the ship vary according to them.

At first, it left Yuuri pretty confused. What’s even time where there’s no sun to tell apart days and nights? Otabek cared to disagree, though. If you’re not aware of time, he said, you’re hardly aware of yourself as well. You could easily forget to sleep for two days in a row, even to eat sometimes.

And that, somehow, made sense. Ever since Yuuri tries to keep in mind the clocks and adjust his routine to them. Sadly, he realizes when it’s been already three days, it’s quite the impossible task. For him, at least. When he puts his glasses on and focuses his gaze on their bedroom’s clock it’s still four in the morning. Yuuri lets out a sigh. He won’t be able to fall asleep again.

All That We Hold of Heaven: I/II

My @viktuuriangstbang fic is now live!!! Not the most highkey angst, but I hope you guys are in the mood for touch-starved, emotional angels. Art by the amazing @pawkaray will be coming in the next (and final) part, but for now…

Fandom: Yuri!!! on Ice Rating: T Description:

Falling—the act of it, the emotion of it—means a lot of different things to different people.

For Yuuri, it means everything.

Excerpt:

Yuuri’s onyx-black feathers shimmer in the moonlight like jewels, shifting and changing with an opalescent rainbow across the dark. Anyone who’s caught sight of him in his natural form says that he’s gorgeous, a sight that even mortals, in their finite memory and lives, could never forget.
Yuuri wishes he could rip them out.
Pluck the darkness from his wings one by one, then tear the feathers interwoven into his hair, and the delicate down that runs down along his arms and backside. Bare himself, bleeding and raw but clean.
But they would only grow back.
His shame mars him, crawls through him in itching guilt that pokes through his skin to show everyone that there is no place for him.
There is a Heaven for the angels that haven’t destroyed themselves and all they’ve loved like Yuuri has. But Hell is a lie. There is no home for him on any plane of existence. There is no family, there are no friends. It’s been centuries since anyone’s tried to find him, and that’s fine by Yuuri.
(Except… when it isn’t. Which is always. It eats through his hollow bones, a constant chant of alone and forgotten.)
The night is icy. It’s not typical of this area at this time of year, but Yuuri doesn’t flee indoors like he would have if his feathers were white. It isn’t that he doesn’t feel the cold, he just puts up with it. He’d like to pretend that it’s because it’s another part of his punishment, but the truth is, the real punishment would be going inside.
And he can’t. He won’t. There’s no one out here to judge his choices except Yuuri himself, and he’s suffered for years. So many years that he doesn’t even know how long it’s been anymore. It’s… exhausting, but he deserves it. He knows he does.
Even if sometimes he doesn’t entirely understand it.
So Yuuri doesn’t move. He hasn’t moved in days. He would have gathered dust, if it weren’t for the wind and snow collecting around him. He used to worry about perceptive passersby seeing him, noticing his wings and knowing exactly what he is, but most aren’t going to notice a thing on the rooftop of the onsen. At most they’ll think they see a crow out of the corner of their eye. And it’s best that a bird is all they see. It’s been a long time since a mortal could perceive him without him trying to be seen, but last time it lead to him fleeing and abandoning his post until the lifetime of that human ended. He shouldn’t even talk to them if they notice.
(Even if he wants them to know him. He wants to scream and shout and be a part of something, anything. But he traded that away a long time ago.)

“Viktor,” Yuuri said, his voice shaky. “You should quit. You were right, I shouldn't be on the ice. You should go back to your own career before it’s too late.”

“Yuuri,” Viktor said firmly. “Please listen to me, I don’t want to quit as your coach. Maybe not ever, but especially not now. Yuuri, you know I’m coaching you because you're incredibly talented, right?”

[Yuuri falls on the quad flip. He and Viktor end up kissing anyway]

Summary:

Yuuri sniffled and wiped angrily at his eyes with his free hand, suddenly furious with himself. “I understand,” he said, his voice thick. “I understand if— you should leave, I mean— to get your own career back— wouldn’t want such a fuck up—“
“God, Yuuri,” Viktor said quietly, his voice filled with pain. “I… I don’t want to leave as your coach.”
“Viktor,” Yuuri said, his voice shaky. “You should quit. You were right, I shouldn’t be on the ice. You should go back to your own career before it’s too late.”
“Yuuri,” Viktor said firmly. “Please listen to me, I don’t want to quit as your coach. Maybe not ever, but especially not now. Yuuri, you know I’m coaching you because you’re incredibly talented, right?”
“Yeah,” Yuuri laughed bitterly. “So talented I smacked my head on the ice and injured myself on an easy jump.”
[Yuuri falls on the quad flip. He and Viktor end up kissing anyway]

I’m so excited to finally post my fic for @viktuuriangstbang! I had the pleasure of working with the incredible @mandolinearts, her amazing artwork can be found here <3

Sing to me like steel: Chapter 2

The final part of my work for the @viktuuriangstbang is up!

Rating: E

***

Victor is still as marble under his touch, the hand cupping his cheek just that little bit hotter as the words sink into the air around them. Yuuri knows the flush starting to blossom across Victor’s nose has nothing to do with the heat, the rosy colour probably matching the blush he can feel spreading on his own cheeks.

“For the past few months, I didn’t want to believe you’d still be thinking about me,” Victor eventually answers, the words washing shaky and hot against Yuuri’s face. “I don’t deserve your worry.”

Yuuri can feel Victor’s quiet resignation like a cold breeze whispering through the moment, the defeat breaking yet another little piece of his heart.

He knows it shouldn’t, but he can almost see the razor’s edge of emotion they’re standing on right now, one more move from either of them and they’ll both tumble in. He knows he can step back, find some way to cool the moment, yet with every passing minute the urge to jump only pounds more strongly in his mind.

Even if he knows it’s wrong.

He can feel Victor’s slow exhale as he leans in a little further, hands sliding up to lightly curl around his shoulders. “Of course I still think about you,” he whispers, now resting close enough that he can see the silver sweep of each individual eyelash. “I wish to God that I didn’t but- what we had, what we were… I’m not sure if feelings like that will ever go away.”

Victor is still for a moment, but Yuuri can see the way his pupils dilate at the words, the subtle stutter of his breath as he closes the final distance between them, lightly pressing his forehead to Yuuri’s. It’s a familiar gesture, one Yuuri remembers with a fondness he can’t extinguish no matter how hard he tries. It’s bittersweet now, but he still melts into the feeling, closing his eyes as Victor’s words whisper against his skin.

“Nothing could stop me from loving you”
