yeah “i can teach you” is kind and gentle and warm and comforting. it’s also hot. right
anti-hero alone is better than 31 ttpd songs combined
(standard original tracklists only; ttpd combined.)
Ttpd comes out and suddenly tiktok thinks I want to see matty healy eating a chicken leg on stage someone please save me
this was a mashup for me actually
Can confirm Guilty as Sin? works as inspiration for what it’s emulating, too. Took one for the team and tried it out successfully the other day 🫡
ANON, DID I NEED TO KNOW THIS?
listening to ttpd while i made dinner this evening and i was struck by the difference between the anxiety and dread at the thought of being replaced by the ‘pretty, new thing’ on nothing new vs the acceptance and possibly even relief about the same on clara bow. it’s phenomenally cool that we get to witness her evolution, both professionally and as a person, in real time
she really went from a scorned bride and poet to a soldier trying to save a relationship and perhaps herself; her traditionally feminine gown was covered up with a soldier’s uniform. except this entire ordeal kills her. she’s stripped in front of the world and brought back to life only to perform. so she dons a man’s illusionist’s suit over that fuckass push-up bra (perhaps the most revealing thing she’s ever worn onstage - and obviously a decidedly feminine look). she survives. no one can come for her job. she’s resentful and powerful. she’s miserable, but she’s alive.
8-9 months of planning the TTPD set? pour one out for killatrav who had to listen to his new girl talk about her plans for alien invasion and demonic occultism on their second date
has anyone read the kyoshi books :33
still gagged by taylor casually going “can you believe this is our 87th show of the eras tour?” and then playing the alchemy. the way she knows the whole lore about her relationship and is so comfortable being so cute about it actually makes me so happy for her 🥺

Work keeps them apart sometimes, but they always find a way back to each other
